Dave Rudd said:I think the chance of a win has gone now. We should have scored more rapidly yesterday.

Great work by Jean, but that's two matches without a win now. Poor form.
She's bagged the Player of the Month award for April for her performances in these opening fixtures

Fully deserved and ... dare I say it? ... she must be in with a chance at England level?2 -

They can't play in that. It's positively dangerous.
Self-important officialdom gone mad.0 -

Compton's got his ton ... now shake hands and p155 off home!1
-

Northants are rattled ... defensive field with only five plus keeper around the bat ...5 -
A hint of 'weather' coming in from the South West ... but our hopes depend on Jean's plié at the Nackington Road end.1

Match drawn
253-5 (91)
Compton 114* (287)
DBD 36* (74)
That's two matches now that, thanks to the inclement weather, we've been robbed of victory.10 -
By Jove!
They've only gone and done it!1 -
A draw, but we trail 8-16 on Points.
Well done to all ... unbeaten in two.2 -

After being so dominant Northants may now regret not declaring earlier and instead focusing on personal milestones. A score of 500 would still have created scoreboard pressure.5

Sadly, the pressure of today's lengthy performance has possibly scuppered my record for the forthcoming Worcs fixture.Dave Rudd said:A hint of 'weather' coming in from the South West ... but our hopes depend on Jean's plié at the Nackington Road end.
At " match drawn!" a celebratory split on the lounge rug resulted in more than a pulled muscle....
So, further rain dancing is the least of my worries at this moment in time.
OUCH !

Charltonised.
You've gone too far with the split. A simple jeté would have been good enough.
This is Kent ... not SCD.3 -
Fixed it for you.FremlinsFellow said:After being so dominant Northants may now regret not declaring earlier and instead focusing on personal milestones. A score of 300 would still have created scoreboard pressure.3 -
Pretty much overpowered but we nick a draw which is very much okay by me. Thanks to Jean for the rain. And great century by Compton.2

How the bloody hell did they get away with that0

One of our overseas players from a couple of seasons ago, Beyers Swanpoel has got himself in a bit of hot water.
Swanpoel, playing for the Lions in a domestic game against the Titans, walked out mid-game meaning that, as he wasn't injured, they had to play with 10 men. He did this to catch a flight to England in order to fulfil the contract he has signed for Worcestershire.
The incident had severe repercussions for Swanepoel. Cricket South Africa (CSA) initially denied him a no-objection certificate (NOC), effectively barring him from playing county cricket for now. That has since been granted but he still faces a disciplinary hearing with CSA and the Lions have seemingly sacked him.
Swanpoel will be available for Worcestershire's next CC game. No guesses as to who the opposition is.1 -
Kent 2s started a 3-day game against SACA this morning.
The 2s are currently 234-0 (40) with Ben Dawkins 110* (124) and former Academy product, Will Harby, on 108* (119)4 -
The bowling curse strikes again. It seems Stuurman's injury has ruled him out of playing for us again.0

318-2 (52)
Harby 131 (134)
Finch 6 (11)
Dawkins 152* (162)
Ekansh 10* (9)1
