I can second that, went past there yesterday and if there had been a sign up to say something was going to happen, its not there now. All looks a bit sad.0

what a sad sight. enjoyed a beer there before the, on a sunny day was great sitting by the river.1

Already planned on meeting in there this summer.
Might have to bring my own beer0 -

We have action. Rubbish clearing and shed gone 9 -
There is something going on in there. Hopefully progress to opening. A couple of times I've run past as there has looked like there is activity. One time a group of people (not dodgy looking) were clearly in and out of there taking a look around.2

I have heard that people are still considering taking it on. A known localish landlord is looking at it from the little bit I heard which would be bloody great.Hopefully we will hear something positive soon.3

Hope so, my dad would always walk us down for a drink next to the river back in the 80’s, stopped by a couple of times with my wife and son a to reminisce, not long before it closed I think, was a singer on and still had a nice calming vibe.Curb_It said:I have heard that people are still considering taking it on. Why did you need calming? Was it because your missus was giving you grief for dragging her into a pub?Sword65pf said:
