Two weeks to go and we now have the winner of the Johnstones Paint Prediction Cup. It is @Webbja77, who beat @Kap10 1-0, partly due to the fact that @Kap10 literally didn't turn up. It gives @Webbja77 an outside chance of being the first double winner in the entire history of the CL Prediction League. In the bread and butter of the Prediction League this week, rising above the crowd was @Sonicstud85 with a very impressive 7 points, while @Bill_Stumps continues a late charge up the Premier League table after scoring 6 points. At the top of the pile, @BR7_addick opened up a 3-point lead after achieving a 10-week run of scoring 2+. Hopeful Harriet meanwhile is more like Hopeless Harriet as her hopes about Charlton's fortunes and Millwall's failings are withering. Late goals affected predictions significantly this week. Villa's late winner against Sunderland meant that all 34 of those predicting that game came up trumps, while Liverpool's late winner at Everton and Brighton's late equaliser at Spurs upset several predictions. Still, as a supporter of Bromley in their humble Isthmian League days, I'm delighted to sit at the top of League Two like the Lilywhites. Charlton can't treat their last three games as though they are already 'on the beach'. As for the team at Prediction League Towers, we are already on the beach.

    Finally reached the Premier League last week (albeit in 20th place) but the glory lasted only one week and now back in the Championship. It seems I may have left it too late to challenge for the title, but will go again next season full of hope.
