He’s better than TC in my opinion, actually has some end product and works much harder.TC today just let the hull right back overlap for a free cross and didn’t even attempt to track back.4

TC was also visibly hobbling around at one point just before the break that Fevrier messed the chance... Have to wonder how fit he was after Wednesday.CAFC_boi said:He’s better than TC in my opinion, actually has some end product and works much harder.TC today just let the hull right back overlap for a free cross and didn’t even attempt to track back.2 -
Really pleased that he had a stormer today because he’s showed glimpses. Jones said he was building up some momentum and we saw the results of that. The thing I’ve liked about him going back to the West Brom game is his diligence in tracking his man. He did it again today shepherding out a clever through ball where he’d followed the run. Exactly what Apter just refused to do when he was with us and exactly why Fevrier is the one getting the plaudits for us and Apter can’t get a game in L1. You don’t have to be a brilliant defender as long as you follow your man, read danger and put the effort in with your running. I don’t know if we sign him, maybe we’ll look for a quicker player but what we do have is the blueprint for the mentality for a player in that position.6

Fev and tc on each wing in a more attacking formation is the one for me3

Didn’t see it coming based on what we’d seen earlier but he’s had a very good week. He’s was more than decent vs Ipswich and was downright excellent today. Like his directness and that he uses his tricks to open a space to cross pr shoot and then doesn’t hesitate to do one of those two things. Hard worker too. If he reminds me of anyone it’s Thierry Small, with a more a consistent final ball but less natural defending (although not terrible).
A month or so ago I saw no point signing him, but this week has shown there’s a base level of ability there. If NJ believes he can coach some of the rawness out of him then he might be a decent punt for a longer deal.9 -
Would love to see the video of him tricking his way in and out of a swarm of 3 or 4 or 5 Hull players towards the end of the match. The crowd really enjoyed that!9

Fevrier Road - the mist rolling in from the ThamesCrispywood said:Wouldn’t sign him personally but this man deserves a proper good send off. Brought in to be a squad player, realistically as a 6 month loanee from a div below there was no real incentive for him to push himself to the limits he has. Hope he will be remembered as a Charlton streets won’t forget for his performance today10 -
The more I think about it, the more he makes sense to buy. He will be cheap, both in terms of fee and wages. He can cover both wingback roles, is solid defensively and clearly has a good engine. He probably isn’t quite as exciting as Small but his end product is better. He hasn’t kicked up a fuss about his minutes and is clearly popular in the dressing room. If it doesn’t work, he’ll have been worth the punt in my opinion.

How cheap is cheap though, if we’re going to spend fees on players rather they be players to improve the starting XI than squad players2
-
We don't want 'squad players' when the current starters are likely to be the ones that need to be squad players.3

And which current contracted player becomes the squad player at RWB?SELR_addicks said:We don't want 'squad players' when the current starters are likely to be the ones that need to be squad players.2 -
He'd be less than Tanto was surelyCrispywood said:How cheap is cheap though, if we’re going to spend fees on players rather they be players to improve the starting XI than squad players0 -

The squad player for L1 relegation battlers Wimbledon? Be serious. I'd love Asiimwe to be a squad player for us but he's nowhere near ready for thatSELR_addicks said:

The 21 year old that has just had 34 games in League One and started the majority of those games.fenaddick said:

If you want to look at things like that; Fevrier was a bench player in League One.0 -
Fair points. I'd love to be wrong, I really like Asiimwe I just don't think he's quite there yetSELR_addicks said:

If keeping Asiimwe and not getting Fevrier means we can sign a player of a higher calibre to start, I would prefer that.fenaddick said:

He’s been fit the entirety of the season so the fact Jackson hasn’t used him from the bench in 11 of those games and I get players need a rest every once in a while but add those 8 bench appearances that’s 19/45 games where he’s not been in the starting XI.SELR_addicks said:

If you want to look at things like that; Fevrier was a bench player in League One.In the last 30 L1 games he’s only played 6 games past 75 mins as well. That’s for a bottom team in L1.Like Asiimwe but it shouldn’t even be a question him being in the squad next season ideally needs another loan higher up the L1 table.3 -
To add further, his goal today showed he fancies taking hold of situations. I've also rewatched Kelman's goal and he belts forward to support. He does all the right things, even if he has an odd running style!0

Hasn’t he already got an estate near Kidbrooke named after him?Fortune 82nd Minute said:

MoM. Loved him doing a little river dance to beat FOUR players. Sign him up imo.

I asked Jacko about Asiiimwe the other week and he said he’s done ok but lacks consistencyCrispywood said:

Fevrier has done a lot better than my initial view on him early on .
Think it was one of the home games recently where he was warming up at ht and I thought the players were from the oppo cos I’m pretty sure they didn’t have white shorts on , anyway I was watching this unit doing flicks and tricks and thought this fellas a player and then my son pointed out it was our lot and that was Fevrier .
Should we sign him , fuck knows3
