Falkirk v Rangers has been a bonkers match so far. 3 - 5 with 15 mins to go.

Great come back and the extra goals may come in important at the end of the season.

2 - 2 at full time then Celtic score 4 in extra time in 6 minutes!

Hearts made hard work of beating 9 man Hibs today.
If they struggle to beat 9 men, that’s not a good sign.
Then again, maybe the gods are smiling on them to allow them to win despite it being a poor performance and up against their fierce rivals who were right up for it.

As expected the disastrous Russell Martin reign left Rangers with too much to do.

Title is between Hearts and Celtic with the decider on 16 May at Celtic Park.

Wilfred Nancy league games in charge - 6 (2 wins)
Russell Martin league games in charge - 7 (1 win)

With the likely goal difference it's definitely advantage Hearts and it may all be over anyway before the Hearts v Celtic match if Rangers can get something at the weekend.

What a game and win for Hearts. Absolute pandemonium at Tynecastle when the goal went in.

This would be up with Leicester winning the prem for me.... its just been a 2 team league for my whole lifetime. So funny seeing the old firm fans sulking that anybody else can dare get involved.
Leicester is a perfect comparison, but sadly Celtic will win it again.

Hopefully Rangers can get a point on Sunday and barring a choke that should be enough for Hearts to win it

Noise at full time was class too.

Keep expecting them to end up stumbling (and finishing third), full credit to them so far.

Haven’t opened this thread since 2018, but watched most of the Hearts game yesterday. Sp hope they get over the line, would be great for Scottish football. Atmosphere there was incredible

Draw would have been the worst result for rangers ..
How about last game and a draw  Celtic v Hearts gives Rangers the title do Celtic then go and score an og

a bit like me hoping we'd lose to ipswich to stop the scum going up

My old man thought that too, but I don’t think it’s correct. If Rangers drew yesterday then we could still have overtaken Celtic by beating them next weekend. That’s no longer the case. So with a draw Rangers would have had a chance of finishing ahead of Celtic and an outside chance of winning the league. The loss means Rangers have no chance of either now.

Anyway, Hearts were good value for their win in the second half. No Rangers can no longer do it I hope they can get across the line as objectively it would be a great moment for Scottish football to have a different win the title.

Still think Celtic will end up winning it though!

Agreed. It would be like saying "How dare you think you can break the Glasgow monopoly - get back in your box".

Still, all irrelevant when my beloved Ross County are in freefall  :'(

Hibs crowd was down over the weekend, as a win for them would have helped the jambos.

My Jambo bestie still can’t bring herself to watch it. Great game and I’m keeping all my fingers crossed for them.
But feck me, Scottish football is a joke, their number 6 actually only touched the ball once in the second half. Stealing a living 😳🤣🤣

I don’t usually watch Scottish football, but as it was in between the two Prem matches, I thought I’d take a look. I was very much cheering Hearts on as I feel (like almost all football fans, presumably) that it’s time someone other than the old firm won the league.

I thought it was a good game. The standard of football was ok if unspectacular. Obviously not Premier League quality, but certainly better than we’ve seen from Charlton this year.

Most striking thing for me though was the noise of the crowd. Those Hearts fans sure got behind their team. Very impressive.

I am (almost) praying that Hearts win the title this season, about time the 'auld firm' monopoly  was broken .. their success so far shows what can be achieved with the 'Bloom data base' as well as his cash
Even then, you need a manager who can get the best from the chosen players
