Thanks for posting, but what an absolutely horrible site to try and use. Is that really the best that Hull have? Another real eye opener as to how lucky we are to have Charlton Life.
If you think that’s bad go look at the Stevenage one, it’s awful!
Wow, that really is a shocker. You have to click a new link to see every single comment! Who on earth would bother with that? Still, at least it's not plastered in ads.

As someone who has to navigate online SM for work, it still amazes me how bad the majority of platforms are, just chaotic, popups everywhere (yes I have a blocker). CL really is one of the best we are blessed (oh tagline there lol).

Think there's maybe one of their fans giving us any kind of credit on that thread

I skimmed through reading only those posts that mentioned Charlton, but I didn't think they were too bad. Sure there were a few of the ubiquitous 'Charlton are shit' type comments that can always be found, but there were a handful of positive comments about us too.  For the most part though, they weren't concerned with our performance (why would they be?), only with how they'd done.

My main takeaways were that, they felt their squad is better than the team they put out, they felt they had a strong bench but that Eustace managed their subs poorly. They felt that they didn't have enough width to sufficiently threaten us when we were struggling and that this improved (too late) with the introduction of CBT, though some were concerned with his defensive frailties. Hard to argue with any of that, I think.

Decent to see the majority of them admit we were better, and given how much they've spent etc I can even forgive the odd 'we must be crap to lose to them' stuff.

    Also:

"I tell you what though, I’d be offering £10m for Tyreece Campbell. Strong and pacey, and only 22 - something we lack massively. Not sure if they’d sell for that price but I’d be testing their resolve. 3 goals in 3 games this season so in form and only 22 (almost 23) so could really kick on."

Shows how important trying to get him to sign the new contract is!

So far, on the Spuds forum "The Fighting Cock", some of my favourites are:

    - would take a draw

    - We need a win to get us up the table.

    - Charlton were shite against West Ham - the scoreline is misleading. Brentford are a good side, and doubly so at home. We should be big favourites, regardless of the Saturday shitshow.

    and

    - When I was a kid, Charlton used to do promotional return coach + ticket for £1. Went a few times because I couldn't afford Spurs games until I had a job. They were shit, now Spurs are shit, and every child ticket sold for a Spurs game should automatically flag the card holder with child protection services.

TFC is the best, most anarchic Spurs forum out there. Like a big dysfunctional family. The only thing missing is Nurse Ratched as moderator.
"Like 2 drunk blokes in a pub shouting at each other" is the best description I have seen.

Gives you an indication of the content. Generally carnage. Love it.

I especially like “we need a win to get us up the table”!
