It will be interesting to see if QPR & Oxford can get caught up in the importance of their games for the home teams.  I reckon it’s more likely in the QPR game as the tension will be greatest there.  Oxford are also potentially subdued off the back of relegation.

With Ipswich still needing to win to be certain, anything can happen.  If I were a Millwall fan I’d still have a little bit of hope and optimism that they could do it.  Football has an inclination to provide theatre and drama.  One more twist in the tale is not unthinkable
Of course there’s a chance. One in ten probably
Think you’ll make it through the playoffs?

I find it hard to look beyond Southampton.

I think Millwall will win and QPR get something at Portman Road.

Just seen we’re 3/1 to make second spot. Terrible odds

Ipswich will be far too strong and motivated to do anything but win against QPR, and could see Oxford getting a draw at Millwall, Ipswich and Saints to go up...

Yep. QPR were awful when we played them at the Den a couple of weeks ago. Only one team has been worse than them at ours this season but I’m not going to mention who that was on here  😉

QPR are incredibly inconsistent, so really hard to predict how they'll play.

No way that Ipswich team are dropping points to QPR. Still, it’s nice for a club of our size, little old Smallwall, to be going in to the final game of the season with an (very) outside chance of making top 2. Crazy league.

Now if only we’d beaten Leicester on Friday night 😩
Wouldn't be that weird, nerves are a funny thing.
Imagine if they lose and we fail to be Oxford 😬

    Brilliant film.

Funniest scenario is that Ipswich lose and Millwall are winning and concede to draw in injury time. I'd love a repeat of that Blackburn game they had
This scenario would make me more anxious than during last year's play-off final.

Ipswich are 3/11 to win at home. And they might not even have to win to end up going up anyway, so the bookies have them 80%+ to go up.

Yes, can’t see them screwing it up, but it would  be just our luck to see you lot nick automatic promotion 😭

Lad at work is a QPR ST holder, and thinks they’ll get beat 5 or 6 at Ipswich

QPR are probably the most unpredictable side in the league. No idea what to expect from them , they could easily get hammered 5-0

    I know,

    it’s the spanners.
  • Ipswich 0 QPR 1(Kone 34)
    Millwall 1 (Cooper 67) Oxford 1(Lankshear 90 + 10)
    Wrexham 0 Middlesbrough 3 (Whittaker 32, 46, 84)

Boro get 2nd, Wrexham finish 7th on GD behind Derby.
The odds on those scores, scorers and times must be 20,000 - 1?

Didn’t Ipswich likewise turn us over in the last game of their promotion season at their place and we were in one of our indifferent approach to playing football phases ?

Do you think we may mice out of that phase at any point as it seems to have lasted for most of the last decade or so.

Yeah that was a horrible game 😅 think they were 4 up inside half an hour that day. One year was 4-0 the other 6-0.

Why would anyone want anything other than an Ipswich win tonight is beyond me. Baffling! Are you even Charlton fans?

Have to listen to the spanners we always get 6 points off you. If they had done, they would’ve got second. Fuck em.

Looks like Hull's winning goal was offside, denying Wrexham 6th place.
    What a shame.
