Ah. I'll miss Ted, always made me chuckle, wandering around, not a care in the world, dreaming of sausages. RIP Ted.

Even though you could tell lately it was coming, I was absolutely in bits when I saw this today.
Thanks for all the entertainment Ted!
Hope you get briefcases full of pocket meat over the rainbow bridge 💔

Aw that's sad.  Proper character in that series, one of the three oldies enjoying themselves by the river!  Will be missed.

    RIP Ted.

Oh mate, we'll miss you, my daughter always loved it when he appeared, mimmicing his underbite.
I got a secret for you, your briefcase is waiting for you at the entrance to Doggy heaven.

RIP Ted, great series, never been fishing in my life and not likely to, but the 3 characters of the show
    made it compulsive viewing.

Ted is more integral to the show than his brief appearances would make the casual viewer would believe.

Now this is a proper RIP . Makes a change from some obscure musician nobody has heard of.

Love the show and Ted was a big part of it.

    RIP

He was the dog who accidentally ended up being the star of Mortimer and Whitehouse gone fishing.

Owned by the shows director I believe

Yeah kept wandering into shot where it came more of an effort to not have him feature in it, eventually being a part of the show and part of the opening credits. Real character

I liked Ted. He made that programme.
As does Jelly Bean ( and Jelly Tot ) on Henry Cole’s various programmes.

Oh Smudge, do yourself a favour and watch from the start.
I have zero interest in fishing but bloody hell it’s a great uplifting wonderful watch and wee Ted was a joy.
