Unity Cup 2026 - prices for Saturday significantly reduced (p4)

Would of gone to the Jamaica v India game but my interest isn't strong enough to fork out for those prices what with travel included.1

Exactly the same as the shower that "organised" the last one we staged. Quite a few people still have nightmares over that0
-
From what I can see, the 3rd/4th play off kicks off at 2.30pm and the final at 7.30pm, clearly aware that the champs league final kicks off at 5.00pm but logistically what on earth is the plan given tickets are for a double header?
Why didn’t they just have finals day on the Sunday?0 -
Cricket and Football are obviously worlds apart but Indians will pay £100 plus to watch the team in a Test match so the novelty and nationalism of seeing the national team for once might push some to buy. But for someone like me for whom being Indian is a past generation heritage and who sees what would be better football this is a complete no no.se9addick said:I’m guessing their thinking is that there are enough people of Indian, Jamaican, Nigerian and Zimbabwean background in London who probably never get to see their teams play live that they’ll pay over the odds for a chance to do so. We’ll see if they’re right.

Surely that for all 4 games combined ticket?Swerve said:Agree on the thoughts on pricing! We had a look at the finals day, I was expecting £30-£40 but it seems to be £90-£110 in the East.
4 of us would probably have gone, and bought a few beers and food, but not at that price. I presume they know what they are doing though.0 -
Presumably the Champions League final is slightly cheaper too?AFKABartram said:Heads up that the final is same day as Champions League final, though different time1 -
Unity Cup are offering 20% discount to CAST and Charlton fans in general using the code CHARLTON20. Please don't put this on social media but do use yourselves and share with Charlton friends and family. You use at checkout here: https://www.unitycup.com/games

The organisers obviously have a different view to Charlton with regard to the Covered End. Pricing the lower tier at a premium instead of the upper.Kap10 said:Had a look at tickets for this. £59.50 behind the goal £70 East Stand. Im sure they will get a good uptake but its ridiculous pricing for " no mark" international teams.
Despite my heritage I'll give this a miss.

Looking at the amount of tickets still available, they need to drop the price dramatically, seems only a couple of thousand seats have been snapped up so far0
-
Those prices are scandalous0

I doubt many Charlton fans would go even if it was free.ValleyGary said:Those prices are scandalous2 -
The last time it was for a number of Lifers for Ireland v Jamaica as delegates of the Nigerian FA. Don't know how that happened...1

A couple of observations.
1. Those ticket prices are a joke. 60 quid for India v Jamaica is wild!
2. How on earth does Dixon get a call up when he couldn't even get a game for Crawley?0 -
On point 2, he’s their shining light youth attacker. He has an incredible amount of pressure on his shoulders on that front. And it’s a B team squad, he wasn’t in the last one. He’s effectively in there because TC and Leon Bailey aren’tChris_from_Sidcup said:A couple of observations.

They've announced a separate squad for Poland and Portugal games, much stronger including Lookman, Osimhen and Iwobi https://punchng.com/full-list-osimhen-lookman-iwobi-ndidi-make-chelles-squads-for-unity-cup-friendlies/sam3110 said:The Nigeria squad is similar

Seems to make an even bigger joke of the ticket prices, am not surprised that the likes of Lookman won't be involved as they'll be given the summer off without World Cup involvement - But if teams aren't going to be sending their First Team options, they cant be asking for those prices for players that the average person will struggle to hear of6

When I looked a couple of days ago ticket sales resembled Sunday League sales. They seem to be flooding it now with discounts all over the place. Various partnership groups getting offers of £5 adults, £1 kids.Someone is gonna make a huge loss on this I reckon4

I wonder what Paul Elliott thinks on the sales figures.0 -
Use code CHARLTONWOMEN10 for £10 tickets plus £1 booking fee1

If anyone is attending games the museum would really appreciate any flags, flyers, programmes, teamsheets, etc, etc.

Remember looking to go last year at Brentford at being put off by ticket prices. You would have thought they’d have learnt their lesson, I can watch England vs Spain for £25 at Wembley.
Shame as if tickets were priced reasonably, it could be a really good event2 -
They also had the digital billboard placement as you come out of Black wall tunnel this weekend, which is not a cheap advertising support so I would agree with your suspicions that this is going to end up a loss making exercise for whoever is putting it onAFKABartram said:When I looked a couple of days ago ticket sales resembled Sunday League sales. They seem to be flooding it now with discounts all over the place.
