Tbf we rode our luck for most of the sesson. Nicked last minute goals when we didnt deserve them.

But the womens team us just like the men's. Lack of goals. Look at the top 5 teams - everyone else have scored mid 40's.

We really should win the play offs. Did I hear right that Leicester have only scored 10 goals all season.
Leicester only TWO wins all season!

Haven’t really threatened the keeper and don’t look like scoring at all but should be some chunky injury time.

But are they a worse team than us? That's all that will count now

FT 0-2...So, playoffs it is against Leicester City who've won just two matches all season, home advantage could prove invaluable...🤞

Quite the bottlejob the last few weeks. Hopefully they get it done.

we will defend for 90 minutes against Leicester and hope for a fortunate goal. We have had our chance and absolutely blew it in the last 7 games.  Diabolical.

Well I am absolutely fucking raging. Absolutely terrible performance in that second half, devoid of any quality or real effort. It’s bad enough that we’ve binned off the strong position we were in but to turn in such a limp gutless performance on our final, must not lose, game is pretty shameful. Everyone except Keira Flannery and Charlotte Newsham needs flensing after that

Second season in a row we've really lacked pace and a proper goalscorer up top, it's a shame because we were in such a good position it was almost impossible to throw it away, but we managed it

Birmingham look what they are, a very expensively put together squad of players who could play in WSL1, we go again

Our form last 7 games is equal to relegated Portsmouth and only better by 1 point than 11th placed Sheffield Utd.

So disappointed in the collapse. Remember Brum were thumped last week 3-0 at home to Ipswich who are pretty awful.

That’s what happens when you waste your budget on Amelie bloody Thestrup!

Just watched the Swansea game on the stream. Would love to see the women playing! Might make me take more interest. Why not just show it free ?

Ok forget it . I can't be bothered. Probably won't even watch out for the score. My bad.

Thanks! Watched the game and was very very impressed with both the football and the production. Definitely want to see the play off although I'm too ill to actually get to the valley.

Unfortunately Charlton looked rather ordinary compared to birmingham.

Even the ref was excellent although they need to find a more appropriate uniform.🙂

In a league with Palace, Birmingham, Newcastle, Forest, Bristol City, Southampton, with the combined budgets or WSL history, it's just so hard to compete. Even look at the calibre of players Ipswich could sign in the winter window. If we had the opposite season to the one we had and ended up clinching a shot at the WSL in a playoff game on the last day of the season, things would be feeling different today, for sure. We just have to find a gameplan to win against Leicester, its a great opportunity that I don't think will come round soon unless the owners want to invest WSL level money into the team.

I don’t watch much of the women’s game admittedly, but I can’t recall seeing one positive comment about her.

    Is she really that poor?

Really poor last few games. We didn’t strengthen much in January when others did and paid the price. Last chance saloon now to find out if the players and the club really want this.

Yes. She doesn’t get much service but she’s slow. She has the goalscoring nouse of Godden (right time, right place etc) but none of the strength or work rate. Luxury player we can’t afford to have

Awful feeling. We threw this season away in January when we failed to bring in decent pleyers to support the team when anyone with eyes could see we were in pole position but riding our luck. This team needed reinforcements and they never came.

I watched a bit of that game. I felt it made a great case for allowing drinking in the stands when watching it

In the last 7 games we achieved 1 win, yes 1 win.

How does that happen to a team top of the league for most of the season? Questions have to be asked of the players, backroom staff and management team. This shouldn’t happen.
