Always the possibility we can get him on loan again.

Wrexham will want him gone so there is a deal to be done. Either on loan again or they will pay off some of his contract and he will leave on a free

Sounded like he was pretty keen to stay, I’d certainly keep him. One of those where you probably only see half of his impact on the pitch, brilliant character to have in the dressing room

He's definitely keen to stay, question is whether there is a deal to be done as we won't go anywhere near his full wage I imagine.  Tbh I thought at times today he struggled with Swansea's high speed passing but then we struggled defensively once he went off.

He played a key role in helping us limp to safety no doubt if we’re serious about building a more dynamic, creative midfield next season the he has no part in it

I thought last week the view was that he wouldn’t want to move to a London team away from his Liverpool-based family?

From the 11 games he started we got 17 points, that’s top 8 form

I’d worry he’d do a Berry and just an extra year would be one too many for his legs. He’d also need to be willing to take a 50% pay cut unless Wrexham pay him off also need to progress not stand still.

Thank him for all his help and both move on with it being a great move for both parties

Would love to keep him as I think his experience would be very valuable to the squad. He can guide the younger players through tight games and has a great mentality that fits well with the players we have currently.

He would also have a good route into coaching with us as he strikes me as someone who wants to manage one day.

I don't think it will happen due to his family circumstances but I'm a lot more hopeful after watching his interview.

If not, thanks for your contribution to us staying up Conor. Really enjoyed seeing you wear the red and white.

I was certain that was his last game for us, but that interview has made me re-think … depends if a deal can be done.

Can't see us keeping both Coventry and Coady. So if he does come back, I imagine Coventry will be off.

I don't see us selling Coventry given West Ham would get 50% of the fee. Keep him for his final year as a squad player then see if he's worth a new deal when it comes to an end. If not then replace in a year's time.

Let's be honest, it's gonna be 50% of not much anyway. If we sell him, I'm sure it will be because we think he's not good enough to progress with us.

It fell apart when he went off today.

So if the fee isn't much then it's not worth selling him tbh. Still worth keeping as a squad player, its only last season he was the player's player of the year. He's dropped off in recent months whether that's because he's played through injury or not but not enough to get rid for not much, of which 50% would go to West Ham.

Definitely think we should try and get him for next season. His experience would be key. Very much a steadying influence. We could build around him in some ways. And, it sounds like he would love to stay. Hopefully Nathan Jones can see that.

I remember under Bowyer’s management in his second season he said we were lacking an experienced head; a leader; someone who would be a great addition on and off the pitch. Someone who wouldn’t always play but had that edge on the pitch when we needed it. That was Darren Pratley and I think in Coady we have had a similar player. Would like him to stay with us for next season.

From what Jones said after the game it sounds less likely that he will be staying
