Final statistics (not including cup or play off games) for all our loanees. Asiimwe, Kanu, Bower and Mbick will all have played more senior football than ever before. Anderson, Mitchell, Kanu and Mbick have all impressed in L1/L2 while Bower, Enslin and Casey were all impressive at NLS level. Rylah's loan still has 7 months left to run.

Overall, I think our loan programme has greatly improved this year. The promotion to the Championship has clearly made a real difference
I'm sure the promotion helped enormously, but I also think it's another sign of us getting back to being a properly run club that can plan long-term. I've been impressed with how considered the loans for the youngsters have been, all made with a mind to developing them for the system we play. A lot of that must be down to Jones; for all he's had a habit of jumping shop in the past, he does seem to think long-term, which is perhaps a bit of a rarity in the modern game, when many managers are just thinking about surviving the season.

Fantastic commitment this season mate. Looking forward to more of the same next season.

You could even do a round up every week in a tiktok short format or what have ya next season. Feel like the hard work deserves a bit more coverage. You are quite literally doing more than the club to cover our loans than anyone else is doing at the club and for free.

Appreciate that. The club do a weekly round up too, although I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in part because of this thread as it did start a few weeks into the season. I’ll leave the video coverage to long haired Leicester fans for now!

I'm not sure many of the youngster loans are down to NJ, as we have academy management to deal with a lot of it.

The big change this season, is that whereas in L1 many of the academy lads can do a job, in the Championship they are nowhere near ready, and sadly most will never be good enough. When the likes of Miles and TC are being questioned by many supporters, that shows how hard it is to break through at this level now.

Henry Rylah came on as a sub for Derry City last night in their 1-0 defeat away at Drogheda, and hit the bar in the 87th minute.

Thank you @fenaddick, this thread has been a great addition to the forum.  Up for doing it again next season?
Of course. I've really enjoyed it. It can be hard to keep track of loanees and they sometimes get a bit forgotten. It's been really useful to have a reason to keep track and I've enjoyed the little community of people who take notice
Should have gone in  for those contract negotiations a little more aggressively .  Could have got another £10,000 a week and a £100,000 signing bonus.

Stockport v Stevenage tonight and Bradford v Bolton tomorrow. Not expecting a huge amount from our loanees

Thanks for all your work @fenaddick

I wonder if DK will get another loan but to L1 this coming season or pushed into the squad?

Had the playoff semi final on in the background so I've not been watching that closely, but Tanto has barely had a touch since coming on it seems. That being said, his side are up 3-0 on aggregate so not exactly the situation where you need you center forward making telling contributions apart from working hard (which he seems to do), but yeah, just wanted to call it out.

Stockport weren't really trying to attack, they just needed him to harry defenders which he did well enough I thought

I just don't see Olaofe as a striker.

Which begs the question where would you play him? Because his wing play is not good and he certainly doesn’t have the defensive aptitude needed to play out there. For me he’s a mid table L1 winger, we took a punt on him performing well for a Stockport side that are all about the collective and it didn’t work

Lovely anticipation and header, not the kind of goal you'd associate with Rylah
