Impressed with the Saints 2nd half and their passing ability.
Interesting the way  Southampton were more front footed in the 2nd period and the chances they created.

Even Nathan Jones and Gary Rowett will be finding the playoff games boring  ;)

Is it next season they're making these play offs even longer?

Might as well do away with the regular season and go straight to the playoffs.

What a dreadful advert for Championship football that was.
Yeah I thought both teams looked nervy, especially us in the first half. Not a great game. Lacking in quality. We contained them though and bar the first couple of minutes they never really looked like scoring. Second half we were stronger but I agree, over all not a good advert for the championship. Would’ve taken a draw though not a bad result.

As neutrals, would you lot on here say Leonards goal should’ve been disallowed or just a 50/50 tussle?

On the first angle shown it looked like a 50/50 tussle.
On the second angle shown from the other side he clearly hauled the Hull player to the deck.

Are we ever going to get a goal in these Play-Offs? - Over 217-minutes played so far in three games, and nothing

First time I saw it I thought absolutely no chance that's a foul. When they showed it from the other angle I thought it was a foul and changed my mind. However he had let a lot go, and if that's not in the box I'm not sure he would have given it.

Or the EFL disciplinary proceedings wind along at their usual (lack of) pace, Southampton beat both Boro and Millwall, and then lose their place for spying so Millwall go up instead.
Can already see it.  Millwall scrape last Hull.  Meanwhile the Championships most in form team, Southampton will get kicked out for spying meaning they will play a Boro team in the final who won't have played for a month.
You're a horrible lot sometimes!!  - Why would you say such a thing?
It's anti-manifestation :) Think of the worst possible thing that could happen, so it doesn't

Yeah at the ground I thought it was 50/50. Watching it back I can see why he disallowed it.

I wondered if he would've let it go if the Millwall player involved in the tussle had been the one to score, rather than hauling down his marker for his team-mate's benefit.

    Quite.
There was a strange moment where you could hear the Stevenage fans laughing at the Stockport player who fell over, just before the disaster happened!

    What a bizarre goal
Even the striker didnt want to score. Ran 30 yards with the ball after dispossessing Periganni  & then fell over.

League one looks so poor. If either of these 3 go up I dont think we'll have much trouble staying up.

Saints will take that very happily. Think Boro with Hackney back, at Wembley, would be too much for Hull or Spanners. Issue is he’s not gonna be fully fit

The 4 playoff teams finished over 25 points behind champions Lincoln, all 4 would need massive strengthening.

The new slimline Steve Evans gives me the creeps.
He definitely hasn't been eating all the pies recently.

It’s the sort of goal where you just go home without saying a word. Absolute shell shock

I'd agree if only 1 team is relegated.

If allegations against are heard and wrapped up before the second leg on Tuesday (LOL I know), they need to be punished in a way that deters them from doing it again.

A fine worth 1% of the PL TV revenue will not suffice if they happen to go all the way and get promoted.

If it was up to me, I’d be awarding a penalty goal to Middlesbrough before the second leg kicks off.

    Saint fans at Boro today.
