The Millwall players were looking for a letter to colour in in Hull City.0

I know many Charlton fans have the memory of a Gold fish but can we stop the bollocks about Millwall taking 6 points off Charlton, as if it happens every season 😤
Since August 1966 Millwall have done the double over CAFC 6 times out of 26 seasons ! 6 times too many I GRANT you.
Charlton have done the double just once in that period with the 2-0 wins at the valley and the Den with Kim Grant at the double back on that freezing night 5/12/95 and back at home on 9/3/96.
With the way my brain is wired, hearing the constant "Millwall take 6 points off Charlton" by CL posters and at the ground does my nut in 🤯
We will take 4 points off Millwall in 26/27.

I can see Bannan slinking back to Wednesday.0

be interesting if they do cash in on Azeez like they've done in the past, and go invest again in the squad, it's worked for them well in recent years1
-
Think they'll probably cash in on Azeez , Crama and Ivanovic and reload again.1
-
Sturge as well might be another they'll have to consider losing.MarcusH26 said:Think they'll probably cash in on Azeez , Crama and Ivanovic and reload again.0 -
Their current run against us is really from 2009/10 - present. We can slice it up over the amount of seasons we've actually been able to play them instead of the total years, but our record against them is still abysmal however you look at it.soapboxsam said:I know many Charlton fans have the memory of a Gold fish but can we stop the bollocks about Millwall taking 6 points off Charlton, as if it happens every season 😤

Youre not wrong though, they rarely ever get 6 points from us, but that's clutching at straws to find a tiny positive.2 -

2 Charlton ones featured Vs Leeds and the first Sunderland game. That second one is currently second in the voting.6 -
As much as it pains me it is really a matter of when they get promoted I think. They are a very well run clubMarcusH26 said:Think they'll probably cash in on Azeez , Crama and Ivanovic and reload again.4 -
Its funny that the Tool box has become such a graveyard in the play off for Millwall, against The Valley which has had some amazing nights recently which the club have followed through to Wembley victories4

So glad that Kayne gets his chance for an early redemption. Don't screw it up this time!2

I did think the Millwall players were too quick to melt away or instead make reckless tackles last night when the Hull players started to get stuck in to tackles. They definitely won’t like playing against himLaddick01 said:

All the while they have to play a playoff leg at home they have the potential for screwing it upAberystwythAddick said:

Some great memories there. Apart from our 2 games, the Deeney breakaway goal was crazy, while we sung "Claridge in the last minute" for a couple of years afterwardsDyerConsequences said:Pick your favourite playoff moments: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8dlg6veyyzo

Watched the Forest v Yeovil game on Sky last night. Incredible performance from Yeovil that left Forest in League One. Russell Slade was their manager.DyerConsequences said:Pick your favourite playoff moments: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8dlg6veyyzo

The expectation (especially here on the Sth Coast) is for a Saints win, but i'm not convinced, I can see Saints imploding at the death and 'Boro coming out on top maybe 1-2...0
-
surely Boro have to start putting all those chances in at some point?0

Two terrible events occured when both Leicester and Millwall lost their owners in a helicopter and car crash respectively.
I feel so sorry for their adult children and James Berylson has stepped in to take over from his father John who died tragically at just 70 on 4/7/23 after a 16 year tenure at Millwall in a seamless process (plenty of heartache).
A totally different situation at Leicester where the Premier champions of 10 years ago are now in the 3rd tier.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha was thrust into the position when his father Vichai died at just 60 and unfortunately the foxes have lost their way big time and despite Aiyawatt's best intentions he has struggled to take on the mantle of making good decisions in the results industry of professional football.
"Let all laugh at Millwall" and most CAFC fans have but Charlton's nemesis over achieved this season, just like Hull and I would be surprised if either were top 10 in the Championship with financial backing?
Not my expertise but I would like to see the financial table?

Got a bit carried away last night and predicted a Charlton double next season against Millwall. I am going to walk back on that. I reckon we pick up 0 points, they lorde it over us.
We still manage to finish 8th and then break our duck and thrash them at Wembley to get to the PL. Far more realistic prediction!7 -
You’d have thought Mrs Bannan would’ve learned to stay off Twitter…
