I'm one of the 5% that's voted Bree

There’s only one winner really. Bree’s is the best team goal but this is an individual award and Kelman vs Hull should get about 90% of the vote4

Bree's was a beautifully executed goal, and a team effort, but may as well give Charlie V Hull the award now...1
-
Although its an individual award in terms of best goal I think you need to take into account the magnitude of the game and that Hull game was massive, no other goal this season comes close to Charlies imo1
-
Kelmans goal for me no doubt, my top 3 would be:
1 kelman vs hull
2 Bree vs derby
3 Carey Vs Ipswich (Blackburn at home was class aswell just think the occasion was more special in the away game)1 -
Done...Kelman's strike against Hull currently 72% of the vote!1
-
Charlie Boy against Hull is in my opinion as good a goal as any team has scored in The Championship this season. Will be a worthy winner.2

Kelman, then Bree then Godden0

This goal is a rare gem- teamwork , awareness of colleagues, skill in execution. No spies would guess we could do that, Kelman-Dykes, TC-Kelman are only other examples in a long, long season. This is the football I could support enthusiastically........................But Kelman gets its because of dire circumstances we would have been in if he hadn't scored .Leuth said:I'm one of the 5% that's voted Bree

There's people voting for Godden or saying it's the best in the Youtube comments. What planet are these people from. He's 8 yards out and unmarked, it would have been a terrible, terrible miss. What the fuck3

Some belters there! The Ginger Genius vs Millwall strangely missing though. Bree's goal has everything, but Kelman's was spectacular. Had forgotten about Tyreece's one. What a beauty. About 30secs before he did that I was ranting about how shit he had been and saying he needed to be hooked haha!0
-
Not looked at them but Kelman's wins hands down for me - both for quality and importance. He made up for a disappointing season in that one moment with Fevrier's just behind it.0
-
Godden’s for me. Absolute worldie, possibly the best ever goal of all time.5

Shrugs off 'that' Brazil 1970 goal, as it was just a standard finish and the build up doesn't count2 -
Top 3 in reverse order for me:
3rd Dykes Vs Bristol City
2nd Kelman Vs Hull
1st Bree Vs Derby0 -
There's a vote for goal of the season?!
I think the majority called it at 12:51pm on Saturday 25th April.
I know I did on the match thread.1 -
Looking back at that, despite the grumbles we have all had about the football, that is one of the best goal of the season showreels in years.
1st) Kelman v Hull
2nd) Bree v Derby
3rd) Kelman v Oxford
And if you needed any confirmation of Kelmans potential next season, watch this again.
- A brilliant goal v Hull
- Superb control to get the move going v Derby
- Fantastic first touch and finish v Oxford
- Brilliant vision and assist for Dykes v Bristol City
I think the guy is class.4 -
Kelman v Hull (75%)
Bree v Derby (9%)
Carey v Blackburn, Godden v Watford, Fevrier v Hull (all 3%)

I agree. Don't understand why he's so under rated by many.DamoNorthStand said:Looking back at that, despite the grumbles we have all had about the football, that is one of the best goal of the season showreels in years.

For me, i can see what he's got and what he could potentially do but virtually every time he's started, i've sat there thinking he needs to be subbed off because he's not contributing / affecting the game and its been like playing with 10 men. Of course, the style hasn't suited him but it is what it is and you can only judge with what he's done so far.LargeAddick said:

It's quite bizarre that such a wonderful collection of goals for a team that can only 'hoof the ball forward" and Cafc only scored 44 goals in the 46 games with only Blackburn and Sheff wed scoring less. They can pass the ball but...
Some crackers from Ginger Genius who was either shagged out or lost confidence as the runs and shots on target diminished in the last dozen games. Our critics with poor memories should remember what he can do if there's enough energy and skill around him.
How we missed Godden in 25/26 yet he scored a good striker's goal helped by being unmarked !
Bree's was the best team goal of the season and Kelman's excellent first touch, and pass to Campbell who layed it back for Carey to Docherty and the finish from Bree.
So unlike CAFC play in around the box in most of the 46 games.
Dykes goal again was a lovely short pass from Charlie and a decent finish from Lyndon.
TC can score at this level but again can look lost not helped when he had to play LWB which was most of the time as 'wingers' don't belong at CAFC despite most of the top teams have forwards who do the damage from a wide position.
Smashing individual goal from Fevrier who deserved to be in a squad in the Championship. Game changers are surely needed.
My vote went to Kelman because it was the best striker's goal I saw all season in the Championship in 25/26.
I would blame myself if I was manager at CAFC and didn't get the best out of Charlie. Maybe a bit more praise for Charlie and keep the praise for TC a bit more in house as it back fired big time after Nathan's comments last season.
Some brilliant goals and 44 goal needs to become 55 to 60 in 26/27 with some tap ins without conceded more than the 58 we conceded this season.

Don't really see why it has to be looked at as an individual award. Get that it goes to a goalscorer but I've always looked at these as which is the best goal overall. And for me that's Bree's - absolute champagne football, poetry in motion and then banged top bins for the finish.
Kelman's is unreal too but a good team goal is so much more satisfying than a screamer (cue the oh matron memes
) 1
