Fantastic start to the blast4

I think Middlesex will be one of the lesser sides but an excellent win nevertheless.
Rogers, once again, proved that he is a decent T20 overseas. Lintott looks an excellent recruit. Along with Billings, DBD, Muyeye, Crawley, Denly, Milnes, Klaassen and Forrester, once he arrives, will make ten. That final place will go to one of Evison, Benjamin, Foreman or Parkinson depending on form and the nature of the wicket albeit playing Parkinson will lengthen the tail.2 -
What a great start to the T20 campaign !!!
Never in doubt .....
...after Rossington left the building
Bring on Sussex !5 -
My view. Just thought I would share.

I was looking at the ticket office for the game, and thought it was pretty full?Stewart said:

Killer meant the ticket office not the ground. Why he would want to sit there, God only knows.Stewart said:

I had thought of maybe coming along for the men's game, but couldn't get tickets for most of the ground, which was oddStewart said:

That's a very poor crowd. I've been to Middlesex vs Kent in the past, and the public areas have been full.0 -
Ah, sorry to have let you down, Stewart .Stewart said:

All that rain dancing I've been expected to do recently has played havoc with my varicose veins & it's a fair old walk from Baker St Station to Lords....
We have tickets for next Friday's Battle of the Bridge so will look out for you then.1 -
Quite a few stands are closed for redevelopment I believe: "The following stands will be closed tomorrow: Grandstand Upper, Tavern Upper, Edrich Upper, Compton Upper, Allen Stand, Mound Lower, Tavern Lower."
Can't help with Middlesex's income. How many blast games do they have there this year?0 -
Just the two and the last one is against Surrey on Sunday. They are playing the rest of their home Blast games at Merchant Taylors' School (3) and Richmond (1). For the Metro Bank, they are playing at Radlett (3) and Lord's (1) and for their remaining home CC matches it's Lord's (1) and Merchant Taylors' (2). So just three of their remaining 12 home fixtures are at Lord's.moutuakilla said:Quite a few stands are closed for redevelopment I believe: "The following stands will be closed tomorrow: Grandstand Upper, Tavern Upper, Edrich Upper, Compton Upper, Allen Stand, Mound Lower, Tavern Lower."

Forrester has now arrived after his brief sojourn in the IPL1
-
The only redevelopment work at Lord's at the moment is the Allen stand next to the pavilion. If they are closing stands, it's because they haven't sold many ticketsmoutuakilla said:Quite a few stands are closed for redevelopment I believe: "The following stands will be closed tomorrow: Grandstand Upper, Tavern Upper, Edrich Upper, Compton Upper, Allen Stand, Mound Lower, Tavern Lower."

Squads for tomorrows games against Sussex. Forrester added to the Men's Middlesex squad and he will, almost certainly, replace Benjamin or Evison. Could also see Forman coming, against his former county, in for one of those two if we feel we need the extra spinning option.
