It's not pretty for the most part of it.

Having watched the under 18s game last week, they are streets ahead of this team, on performance and quality.

Not comparing men's to women's football, simply the quality of the play on the pitch.

I have no idea on the quality of women's super league 2, but if this team was in a promotion spot all season until the last day, it can't be that high a standard or skill or fitness.

That said, if they can get over the line in the next 30 minutes, then the owners have a choice on whether to invest in the squad. Not being able to beat a side that has won 2 (TWO) games in the entire season, and they were many months ago, would be very disappointing!

Yes you are and you shouldn’t.
If you have no idea on the quality of WSL2 why are you even trying to compare?

It wasn't a comparison of men's and women's as such, more the standard of play from our top performing youth team and our top performing women's team. To be fair our men's team had significant issues with the quality of their play.

Based on a single game, against an opposition from a higher league, in 30+ degree heat.

    Stop

I believe we have one more sub but there's no-one to bring on. The only sub I see us making is Pearse when we go 1-0 up in injury time

Or Pederson so we can go for the lesser spotted dual goalies in the penalty shoot out

    So a comparison then? 🙄

If you’re not a regular to women’s football I’d rather you didn’t try to detract from the performance from our girls here, who are playing a team in a higher league with far superior resources. Yet we’re equal with 15mins left to play.

    UTA🗡️❤️

Gillian Kenney expecting the overlap in the 105th minute of a match played in 30 degree heat was certainly optimistic

That is a very satisfying save to watch from the angle behind the goal

Lockwood couldn't get it out from under her feet. That was the opportunity.

Leicester make a sub, presume that’s their last

I don't really care what we have on the bench we need fresh legs. To have subs and not use them in this heat is criminal

The subs left are a youth player who’s never played in the league, a centre back and a player with 22 minutes for us this season. With the exception of maybe Pearse they’d be as much use as a chocolate teapot

Finlayson on the bench is a young midfielder, then you have 2 defenders and a keeper. I'm not sure who you'd take off too
