    Absolutely outstanding. Pure relief that we still got promoted after that amazing season. 

    I wasn’t really into the women’s team until this season but the heart was pounding and I scream liked it was a men’s game when we won the shoot out. 

    Nice for the curse to finally be lifted but it’s also doubled my blood pressure having TWO Charlton teams to now support…

    Well, we never do things the easy way, but 120mins in baking heat followed by a penalty shoot out is pretty much the hardest way possible. I'm so pleased for Karen and the team that we managed to see it through, particularly after the disappointment of the final day.

    Is there a big difference in tv money/sponsorship in WSL? Will the owners need to put their hands deeper into their pockets to make the team competitive at the level above?

    Amazing result, Sophie Whitehouse was unreal for 120 and then somehow found another level for the pens. So chuffed for the team and club, future looking so bright for every aspect of Charlton

    Gulf will be huge. Some massive spenders in the league. Let's hope we can be competitive and the team get some serious backing in the transfer market.

    Yes to both questions. We’re helped by the fact two other teams have gone up but they’ll spend big. All the noise is that the owners are big fans of the women’s team and it’s now time to prove it

    Well done. Not quite Wembley 98 but we won.

    Fitting that SW was the heroine as she has been all season.

    Great for the women and great for the club in general as will raise our profile.

    Both the men and women had late wobbles but both achieved their beginning of season goals in the end.
