    Congratulations Kerry 👏🏻👏🏻
I had it on Sky Go as I was watching the cricket before the start of the football.

Thoroughly deserved. That first half performance was ridiculous

My father won the All Ireland Minors final in 1954 for Dublin before coming to London…3rd from left back row…I have his medal…he had a trial with Chelsea when he came over….thankfully didn’t make it…he is 89 now and going strong…comes to the Valley with me when I am over

David Clifford only had possession for 43 seconds in last Sunday's All Ireland Final. Scored 0-9 from play.
  • Former hurling star DJ Carey has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison after a “reprehensible” act of defrauding people by falsely claiming to have cancer.

The ex-Kilkenny hurler, 54, pleaded guilty in July to 10 counts of inducing family, friends and fans to give him almost 400,000 euros after stating he needed cancer treatment in the US.

It’s like Bobby Charlton defrauding people. He was so highly rated as a hurler and, dare I say it, man.

  • Hard to disagree.

The town of Athlone has currently the Leinster GAA football championship after West Meath beat Dublin and the Connacht GAA football championship after Roscommon beat Galway.

Looking forward to Saturday. I agree with  Tomás Ó Sé, it’s Kerry’s to lose.

    Up the Kingdom!

Let’s hope Kerry get a non Dub linked ref. Felt for Galway yesterday.
Louth result was fantastic and first semi final in 69 years

Was the Kerry goal a square ball? Definitely over the line.

Maybe not that great…replay looks like the ball crossed the line.  Dubs not getting the rub with two big shouts.

Does that mean the GAA is corrupt? 😎

GAA use hawkeye but not goal line technology, looked over the line, The dubs have “scored” a lot of wides.

Job done. I didn’t think Kerry were at their best and they got the rub of the green but it’s over.

    I think it’s Kerry’s to lose really.

At least Kerry are their provincial champions, unlike Mayo.

AAjr has been getting in touch with his Mum’s roots by playing hurling and Gaelic football for the last couple of months. There’s a club over by Canary Wharf on a Tuesday night.
How old is he? As with everything, the younger, the better. I didn’t start playing until I was 18, got by with my football (soccer, always seem to play goal for most team at some time) & athleticism, had a good 10 years playing and won county championships and young player of the year. Still wished I played a lot younger. I played for St Anne’s, 7 of the team won a junior All Ireland playing for London against Cork in the final in ‘86.
He’s 32 this August so started late and was never very sporty so it’s been a steep learning curve.
