Unfortunate, touch from the keeper didn't give Wooton much chance

Sidebeh right to be annoyed at being subbed there.

I’m in a minority but I’d still like to see Tanto given more of a chance for us. Unlikely though and we probably should be aiming higher.

I don't think him or Apter are hopeless causes.

Apter probably shouldn’t be on ability alone, but sounds like there’s more to it than that.

Got a soft spot for him simply because the amount of running he does and doesn’t ever give up, but I think he just doesn’t have that touch or quality you need in the championship.

Same here. Can’t doubt his work rate and he can cause defenders problems - but as you said, the quality we need in The Championship probably isn’t there.
  • Wow, that was impressive

Goodnight Vienna. Stockport have been second best by quite a margin this half

Shame in a way though, I think Bolton are better equipped for the Championship so would have preferred Stockport to come up

Stockport have folded. Not great changes from Challinor.

The only team I didn’t want promoted by the playoff was Bolton as they have a much better chance of staying up than any of the others … so frustrating as they’ve been super lucky this game and Stockport have shot themselves in the foot.

Will be an even tougher Championship relegation fight next season than this one …

Isn’t it something ridiculous like they’ve never finished outside the top six under Challinor? Don’t think they’d have been the relegation fodder people expect.

Bolton, if they survive next season, will have a good chance to establish themselves, but I could definitely see them struggling next year without some reinforcements.

Tanto's chance was key and he opted to blast it as hard as possible. Sadly, you have to say not much finesse has been learned in a whole year from the 24/25 play-offs.

Probably at least a red coming here.

Challinor has never finished outside the play offs when in charge for the full season I believe

Martinez got done for something way less than this I can see this being a red

I must be the only one who wanted Bolton to win. I quite like Ethan Pye and we need a LCB who is used to playing in a 352 but can also manage playing in a 4. He's a good age and I think he might be in the last year of his contract so Stockport will probably need to sell him if a Championship team come in for him. Bolton will do something insane and implode before too long, it's Bolton

He can’t have any complaints there. Deliberately pulls his hair. All players should know that’s a red by now.
