Everton have been dreadful, but not their job to keep West Ham up. I really hate Spurs though.5
-
Shame that Everton haven't gotten one back, going down on GD for West Ham would have been a bit funny1
-
Jordan Pickford has made more passes than their wingers.West Ham can only blame themselves but that was a proper vile performance from Everton and killed any excitement.1

Isn’t this all a bit embarrassing by Spurs for just avoiding relegation? Can’t imagine the Valley being like this for avoiding going down to League 2 …
this should be a massive failure for them not celebrated like they’ve won the league!2 -
No time like the present.
NJ should be on the phone to West Ham tomorrow morning with a cheeky little bid for Jarrod Bowen.

Met Police have just made a statement... It reads... "Aww shit"13

Acting like they won league ffs1

That was so cringeworthy I had to turn it off. Paolinho crying after scoring a shit goal. Porro rolling around on the floor, holding his head, trying to get the game stopped again, and then realises the ref isn't going to stop it, so he jumps up and sprints back. Them celebrating fouls towards the end. Jumping around like they just won the league. Just a gross club on a par with Palace. I'm gutted they haven't been relegated.11

Moyes celebrating with the Spurs players, oh well, job done i presume...0

The one and only player I feel pleased for at Spurs is Kinsky. To come back from that humiliation of being substituted after just 17 minutes against Athletico Madrid following some horrendous mistakes is a credit to the lad. Spurs first clean sheet at home since they last won there in the PL almost six months ago.8

Interesting that Jamie Carragher just said that although disappointed today, West Ham will be back.
I’m not so sure. I’d be confident Spurs would bounce straight back, but the biggest positive for me about it being West Ham that go down is that I’m not convinced they’ll dominate the way some think.
At least, I hope they don’t!12 -
Sunderland finishing 7th and a place in the Europa league is a great achievement.9
-
West Ham away ole ole ole.
Sold their soul to be a league below Brentford, Bournemouth, Hull, nigels etc.2 -
If they were to sue anyone it should be Villa. Villa have smashed everyone over the last 3 months until they played Spurs 3 days before their 2nd leg tie v Forest. Now wished they had lost that game & Forest went onto to the final.eastterrace6168 said:Reckon West Ham should sue Everton for lack of effort and complicity in fixing a result...😉
There is no integrity anymore.

Bournemouth finishing 6th is incredible6

Nice that Sunderland got Europa League.4

Eh ???? So the great save by Kimsky in the end was a figment of my imagination.stoneroses19 said:Everton with zero shots on target today!5 -
Apparently next season will be the first time ever the top division of English football won't have a team beginning with "W".
Oh hold on, I forgot Crystal Palace.20 -

I thought I'd enjoy seeing West Ham relegated a bit more than that tbh. I guess after spending the afternoon channel hopping between two of the dullest football matches, my main thought is one of disappointment that both Wet Sham and Spurs couldn't be relegated. And Palace too.
Not sure I get the criticism of Spurs fans for celebrating though. What does anyone seriously expect they would do?9 -
Spurs are obviously very lucky that they got to face Villa in between the two semi final legs, but a season is over 38 games. West Ham aren't going down because of that, they're going down because they were awful in the first half of the season and won only 3 of their first 21 games.golfaddick said:

Spot on. Ridiculous. Why wouldn’t you celebrate staying up on the final day of the season at the cost of one of your arch rivals?Stig said:

Agreed. Relegation for West Ham has been coming for a few years now. Short-term planning, no real vision, wasted all the Rice money.lordromford said:Interesting that Jamie Carragher just said that although disappointed today, West Ham will be back.

Did we celebrate after we beat Hull to secure our survival?Chunes said:That was so cringeworthy I had to turn it off. Paolinho crying after scoring a shit goal. Were we expected to be at the top end of the table?Chris_from_Sidcup said:

I'd say the fairer comparison was 'celebrating' after Jones kept us up in L1. With our resources, like Spurs, we were a club that shouldn't have been down there. And I don't remember that being much of a party.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Fair play to Bournemouth (first time in their history) and Sunderland (first time in over 50 years) for both qualifying for European football next season.
I suspect both teams will have to seriously improve their squads to cope with all the extra games they'll now have to play.
I still think it's crazy that Iraola is leaving.4 -
They’ve taken out a big loan also & are paying £19m a year in interest. The Red Robin said:
