Of course, I realise that. But this is a rumours thread and so I posted a rumour on a rumours thread. Better than all the crap I have to wade through.Scoham said:
Of course it is, unless he stormed off the Wembley pitch, phoned his agent demanding a move today and signed the contract in time for the person on X to put the message out at 3:15pm.fenaddick said:

Charlton sign Ethan Pye immediately, probably THE best centre half in league one, also left footed and 23, would be great to have around for Bell if he gets injured multiple times again.4 -
Really if he and Apter had 40 odd games like TC they would have had better end of the season stats ..Scoham said:
Tanto just wasn’t as effective at taking on players and using his pace to create chances for himself and others compared to TC unfortunately.RonnieMoore said:Apter and Tanto will now return this week and will know what the future is , expect Apter to stay but think Tanto who been extremely unlucky not get more starts and a run with Kelman as a front two will leave ..3 -
They didn’t get the game time and couldn’t even get it in L1.RonnieMoore said:

I suppose it's all about the life of Pye...🤔1

The Pye story is just that. Pye in the sky.0

We need some form of table or graph to show his attributes and strengths.eastterrace6168 said:I suppose it's all about the life of Pye...🤔4 -
I think we will be desperate to get both gone but will entirely depend on the offers we get for them bothRonnieMoore said:Apter and Tanto will now return this week and will know what the future is , expect Apter to stay but think Tanto who been extremely unlucky not get more starts and a run with Kelman as a front two will leave ..0 -
You forget the clown goalkeeper Duchatelet forced onto Chrissy Powell.Garrymanilow said:Our worst player has to be Ross Worner. The highest level he ever played was when he accidentally played 8 L1 games for us and beyond that he managed to cling on in L2 for a couple of years before going back to conference football. Totally, horrifically out of his depth. Even Dean Sinclair managed a few L1 loans0 -

You never saw Pawel Abbott?LittleAddick said:Leon Best would be my shout for worst ever signing - away at Blackburn December 2017 he had the worst game at centre forward I've ever seen1 -

You forget our other Polish striker who was also useless.thenewbie said:
As soon as "top scorer" and "Polish" appear in close succession it gives me very uncomfortable flashbacks to Parzyszek, which is probably very unfair of me (especially as Parzyszek has been pretty decent everywhere else) but there we go.Callumcafc said:Another entry from Callum’s summer wishlist: Tomas Bobcek
Top scorer in the Polish league couldn’t save his team from being relegated despite them scoring as many goals as the team who eventually won the league1 -
Best actually wasn't that bad. The problem was he was completely injury prone.sm said:

Fair play, a hell of a statement, but not sure it’s quite got the gravitas to really hit home.MrBurns said:I had a dream last night Harry Clarke signed for Millwall

A funny story. One of the Spurs players in 2010 when they qualified for the Champions League for the first time ever, phoned his agent whilst all the players were on the pitch immediately after the game, celebrating with the fans in the stadium, and said "now we go for more money".

I've heard this is a exactly what happened. He's signed and will start the season wearing the number 3.141592 shirt.Scoham said:

"How could you tell in 5 minutes" about Polish Pete which was also my answer to a female when I was too Keen as a teenager and a question was raised about my timing 🙄0 -
I find it quite sad that Apter's career has nose dived after coming to CAFC and it was quite obvious to me and I would think most Charlton fans that as a RWB it wasn't going to work as it's hard for a left footed attacking player to play that position especially a guy who isn't the strongest tackler.
Excellent debut and when covered by Ramsay in the early matches, but I've seen enough matches to know it was going to nose dive unless he could be used off the bench in an attacking mode out right or left.
To not be in the 18 man squad for Bolton over the last half dozen matches he must feel lower than a Dachshund's testicles if he isn't injured ?
Blackpool on loan may be next for Rob Apter in 26/27 as Nathan isn't going to change to 4-3-3 to accommodate him or TC I wouldn't think as he likes the 3 CB's with two wing backs to go forward or make a 5 when we are under the cosh.0 -
When naming the worse player that has worned the CAFC shirt, how can any player that was in a Charlton Premier side be named 🤔
Its got to be a player who represented CAFC in the 3rd tier and looked shabby over at least half a dozen games.
If it's one game they may just have been playing with an injury or frighten to fart after a curry the night before.

Apter and Tanto need to be moved on. We took a shot, neither have worked out
Tanto isn’t technically good enough. A bit of raw potential, but he’s gone back to Stockport who have just been pumped 4-1 in a league one playoff final, and he’s not even started the final. At the age of 26, he isn’t coming back and suddenly being competitive at this level. We gambled, it hasn’t worked out. It happens. Get him off the books asap
Same for Apter. Yes, we can say his closest fit in NJ’s preferred formation isn’t spot on for him, however, Bolton aren’t even interested in naming him as a sub today or in either of the two play off legs. It’s not going to work. We take the hit and move him on. As per Tanto, worth a shot but a failed move.Obviously we’re hamstrung on the basis of that these two were transfer fees on lengthy contracts, but at the level we’re at, let’s not kid ourselves.Hopefully these two transfers won’t impair our activity too much this summer1 -
Both can do well in league 1. I’d loan them out to see if they can score some goals as then we might be able to recoup a bit more of the fees we’ve paid for them. After poor loans their stock will not be high and moving them on permanently won’t be easycabbles said:Apter and Tanto need to be moved on. We took a shot, neither have worked out

A good option. In essence, neither of them are what we need. If we can find someone in league one to take them on season long loans, so be it.NabySarr said:

Tanto just as bad. Stockport took him back on the basis of familiarity, but if they can’t/won’t see him as an option next season, we’re looking at a mid to lower table league one side. Geography could come into play. Stevenage, Luton, Wimbledon, Peterborough, MK Dons, Wycombe, Reading, Orient. All possible clubs1 -

This thread is genuinely diabolical.
It's always bad, but this is right up there. 79 pages of utter bollocks.0
