What will Stockport missing out on promotion mean for Fevrier?  And Tanto?

I feel like the swap could be on now if both teams and players want it. Whereas promotion would have meant no from their side

Fevrier is decent , it would be great to keep him.

Oloafe doesn’t even look a good League 1 player.

Absolutely nothing Tanto has started only half their games they won’t want him back and we’ll likely have our sights on someone better than Fevs

I think people that say they 'hate' people, merely for posting opinion, must hate a lot of people.

    Two things:-

I doubt Stockport will have Sidebeh leading the line next season and they know what Tanto offers.

There may be better WBs than Fevrier (not Clarke or Chambers) but he can cover for both, probably for a reasonable fee and wages.

Lad at work is a United fan but watches a lot of Stockport as his local (went to Wembley) and he said Oloafe has useless since his return.

We're stuck with Tanto, should sign Fevrier .. I'd be tempted to release Tanto on a free .. as discussed elsewhere we have a logjam of players we don't want but who're on longish contracts, so we need to out a few to save their salaries and to make way for incomers

It doesn’t work like that though? You can’t just release Tanto without paying him his salary so it doesn’t save us any money. We can try and negotiate a settlement but Tanto will most likely want every penny he’s owed

I’d imagine our approach will be to loan Tanto out, hope he scores some goals and then we might be able to find a new club for him next summer

Definitely should be looking to accept we missed with Tanto and moved on but there is absolutely no way we should be releasing him on a free he’s not been great but he’s not worth nothing.

Fevrier I think all depends on the fee and wages that both him and Stockport would want

As well as Tanto we also still have Ahadme for a couple more seasons! Not sure he will command any fee, could free transfer and end up paying up some of his wages on going

    Signed for Blackburn.

kinda gutted about this one, hope Alli will deliver but from what I saw last season I would’ve taken Fevrier back over gambling on Alli coming good

I'm glad we didn't go back for him tbh.

Decent bench/squad option only, and there's a chance Alli for example could be better than that.

    Wish him luck though.

There is a lot revisionistic history with Fevrier.  He was good in two matches and either anonymous or poor in the rest.  It just happens that the two he was good in were importsnt results

I think that's a little revisionist. I thought he showed flashes in most of the games he played in, bar Swansea which, let's be honest, everyone was on the beach. I would agree that he wasn't always brilliant, but his versatility really appealed to me. That being said, as I mentioned on the other thread, if we're not going to play a 5-3-2 or a 3-4-3, then his versatility becomes less useful.

I liked him but somehow I like him more now that he's signed for someone else.

I hope him and Blackburn are very happy together but it won't last. Good things never do.

Imagine the scenes on here if we were nearly relegated and the only signing we had made was Fevrier.  I feel it will be a long season for Blackburn fans (but good for us).

I don't think many of us would have him as a starter but I definitely would have taken him as a bench player due to his versatility. I won't be too upset if he's a regular for Blackburn as I feel we have better starting players.
