Sounds like Nuno is likely to leave West Ham.

Would expect they’ll go for Parker if he does.

So still maintaining a connection to the City group. At 55 he surely isn't permanently retired?
I reckon he'll get the Italy job

Jose will give them all a slap, get rid of the egos, probably win something and then fall out with absolutely everyone at the club and be moved on within 2 years

No chance he does an international gig where he won't have the ability to win trophies. It'll be Spain or someone if he does go down the international route

Not sure the vocal supporter of Catalan independence will manage Spain

Could do worse, he has a track record of promotion.  Just make sure its only a one year contract or a promotion release clause.

This might be a question of compensation. "Sacking" a manager usually involves a payment of some description as per that person's contract. If he has been deemed to have independently broken the rules then they can legitimately sack him without compo. There is an FA investigation and the basis of his dismissal will probably hinge on that.

Boring, was hoping that some stocks were going to be built in Middlesborough city centre and the entirety of Championship clubs would be invited to throw perished items at him while some Palace Ultras stand behind him singing.

Haven’t read the thread and probably out of date , heard a week or two back Leicester are looking at Wilshere , who loves SCP as his go between with the players and with his previous Leicester connection that may be a goer , fuck knows

Him and Nuno do not get on according to The Athletic article over the weekend.

For some reason I thought Nuno only came in sort of Christmas-time, so had it in my head he didn't have enough time to sort out the mess they were in etc.

Nope, was in charge for 33 games, and if you take his PPG and stretch it to 38 games... they'd still have gone down.

I only know of one West Ham fan out of about 20 that is happy Nuno is staying.

Might have to get a job in B&Q to tide him over until the state pension kicks in at 67.

The majority of fans are always going to want their manager gone end of the season when relegated regardless of context emotions run high much the same with us under Bowyer.

Much like Spurs, Manchester United and Everton (between the previous and existing Moyes periods) West Ham fans need to realise that the team manager is not the root of their problems.

Were Nuno to go elsewhere, and pick a well-run club, I would fully expect him to produce, at the very least, satisfactory results.

Whether Nuno stays or goes, if West Ham don't make significant changes to their player recruitment strategy and their academy, which must be one of the least productive in the top flight, they will continue to underachieve. To continually fail despite the free 60k stadium is inexcusable. West Ham fans don't help with the continued harping on about "the West Ham way". Boring Moyes would never have taken them anywhere near relegation, despite the shambolic running of the club behind the scenes.

    Five or so
rest wanted him to be backed more to bring in players to a different style

none of them wanted Lopetegui but most were bullish on Potter

How many seasons are Charlton fans gonna be content with Jones-ball if we just hover around bottom six of the league ?

Carlisle United can confirm that Mark Hughes has left his position as Head Coach by mutual agreement.

Perfect timing for Rob Elliot, maybe.
