Trying to get a season ticket and it looks like you can't get one in rows C-G in blocks D and E which is weird and quite annoying. Anyone else getting this issue or am I an idiot? (it might be both)
I've just had a look and they seem to be available.  I am surprised they are also for sale higher up in block D. This is the area that is having new padded seats installed. The new seats are slightly wider and the seat numbers are likely to change and the amount available be reduced. There might also be some seat losses right at the back as they are widening the doors to Club 1905.

Sophie Whitehouse, Ellie Mason and Mia Ross called up for Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales respectively for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

WSL/WSL2 are also running an end-of-season fan survey about what women's football can do better next season

The FA have done their usual announcement of all the clubs in the top 6 tiers of the women's game for next season. Like the look of the first page.

Seems strange that the released and retained list hasn't been released.

I understand all of the management team are on holiday.

There must be so much work required in getting ready for the new season.

I think it’s right to leave it until after their hols as that would put a real downer on your break if you were told that you weren’t part of the WSL plan. It’ll be heartbreaking for some 😢

Weren't about 80% of the squad on a 1 year deal too? So probably a lot of negotiations now underway as there's a lot of things to consider regarding who we want to upgrade, but also who of our squad want to be stick around, some may have even higher ambitions

    Maybe it's been retained

Other clubs have announced theirs. Players will have a head start in finding new clubs when you return from your break.sam3110 said:

As I said Charlton Women's management team have all gone on holiday at the same time. Nobody here to negotiate.

Perfectly correct. Unfortunately that means there is a lot to be done in less time.

I wonder how involved Karen is in transfers and how much of it is left to someone like Lenegan?

I’d like to think conversations have been had quite sometime ago about those not being offered and those on the wish list.
The only issue I can see waiting until after their breaks is if we miss out on potential targets. But I’m guessing we’re fishing in a different pool to the established teams.
    Interesting few weeks ahead.

I know it is inevitable and one of the injustices of life let alone football, but players strive for success for their team and when its achieved they are the victims of their own success.  At least they do have success on their CV's  and whilst I feel hopefully only a few of them will face this, on a team basis, if we are to stay up, I also hope we see a number of new faces.

The man with no football experience who got the gig because Charlie Methven knew his brother.

Jemma White as Head of Women's Football should be involved but.....................

Well that’s why I asked the question, we know who handles these things on the men’s side but not the women’s. The recruitment last summer was pretty good but the winter window left a lot to be desired

I was thinking about that when Thestrup was taking her penalty - almost certainly the last time she was going to kick a ball as a Charlton player and that one kick would make a huge difference to how successful she was seen as having been. No pressure...
