Sounds like a gigantic missed opportunity for the club. Especially when commercial income has been marked as something that needs to improve. Big Nigeria and Caribbean community in our area of south east London. Great idea, terribly executed.

Did this have anything to do with the club? Didn’t they just hire out the facilities and pitch for a fee?

    Great atmosphere there today…
both in the stands but also in the concourse where it seemed most were Anti-Arsenal!

As others have said, a huge missed opportunity for the club to not have more of a footprint on this. A new kit on display, or even selling the Jamaica Inspired Third Kit from this season, would have been great and a chance for many young fans to be swayed into a local team - at a stadium that is likely to be many’s first outing to a football game!

    Shame!
sign up the Nigerian Drummer and trumpet players for the Covered End though🤣

Most would have watched the Champions league game, so that would have been a massive impact ion the numbers.

that shows yet another balls up by the organisers for having the game on at that time. surely it would of made sense to have it early afternoon then after the game have the bar open so people could stay and watch the champions league final.

They had two games to squeeze into one day. They should have arranged it so one could have been played Friday night
