Another great day … really enjoyed Lindisfarne in that atmosphere

    Was a great day
The weather wasn't the best and to start with the atmosphere was a bit subdued.
Alex Harvey changed all that and had the Valley bouncing.
The perfect support band for the Who.
He was amazing, so many good songs … but the entire Valley singing Delilah still comes to mind

Finally got my poster from the museum framed last year, once I’d found where I’d hidden my backstage pass.

We still have a few repro posters, unsigned, from 74 and 76 for sale in the museum

I stupidly put mine up in too much sunlight after I got it framed and the signature has faded badly.

Looking at the signature, I'm guessing Roger Daltrey.
    Could be wrong.

Ah gutted to miss out on those signed ones. Just bought a couple of the repros from the ebay shop for my old man who was at both the 74 and 76 gigs.

Tickets cost just £4 including VAT, a small price in today’s economy, roughly equivalent to around £30 today.

I paid 100 quid to see Blur at Wembley in 2023. That shows you how crazy things have got.
