Loved him back when he was with us but  if JRS hadn't played for us before absolutely no one would be asking for him now. Massively out of form player in a position we don't play.
If jones is going to set up like he did against hull then he can sure play the role fevrier played
Sorry I should have corrected myself and said knibbs or Carey, not fevrier

Talking of oldies, Matt Doherty has left Wolves. Some reports say he's retired.
So what ? .. he'd do a terrific job for us for a season or two IF he's not retired. I doubt he'd take a gigantic drop in salary though

Otherwise, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes would give our midfield a much needed uplift. Hope Jones & Co are on the case

Fevrier played there against Swansea though

The only place he would fit in our team would be as a second striker... Nowhere near strong enough to play wingback
Based on last couple of games of the season think we will switch to a 3-4-2-1 attack/5-2-2-1 defence next season rather than the 3-4-1-2 last season. Would allow for a combo or Carey, Knibbs, TC and possibly JRS (think there could be something in this too - he loves our gaff and players) behind a lone striker. We shall see. Stuff has to start happening soon.
I just don’t think Rak-Sakyi is a Nathan Jones player at all. If we play that system he’s going to want 2 attacking midfielders to press from the front with energy. TC, Carey and Knibbs are good for this, Rak-Sakyi isn’t

I’m sure we are looking to add players of higher quality which JRS fits, but I can’t see Jones signing anyone that doesn’t fit his bare minimum requirements of being good out of possession

Got more chance of finding a petrol station open in East Belfast tonight, than signing either of those, mate....

    Dear Charlton Life,

JRS is an exciting, skillful ball player who can score goals and produce goal assists.

He's just not my type of player.

    Regards
    Nathan

I can’t believe people are trying to equate TC and JRS in terms of current ability and upside potential.  TC is not even close to JRS skill wise.
You are probably right, but based on the last 6 months, you’d be hard pushed to know who had the better current ability. His loans have been getting progressively worse and his last loan went terribly.

Let’s be honest, his career has majorly stalled. If we had another manager, I think we’d be in for him but I can’t see Jones being keen. He is still really good friends with TC and Leaburn from what I gather. Agree with the poster further up. Could definitely see him signing for Milwall this summer.

Anyone enthusing about JRS should re-watch his penalty against Brighton in the League Cup last sixteen.   :p
No-one said he should be put to sleep.

That was then. This is now. Jayden Stockley was pretty effective when he first joined us. Would you like to sign him now?
