With Ross Stewart, it's more that he wants to go, rather than them releasing him.
Indeed it seems that they had a one year extension clause, but failed to trigger it in time, due to the Spygate sage...

Love us to sign Ross Stewart .. but I reckon he's aiming to go much higher than us3
-
He definitely could but It’s whether other clubs want to gamble on him, being very injury prone. considering we have a lot of available options but no one near his quality hope we’d at least have a look at it as an optionLincsaddick said:Love us to sign Ross Stewart .. but I reckon he's aiming to go much higher than us0 -
When I 'advocated' for him I was forgetting his injury record .. last thing we need is another expensive casualty clogging up the physio's roomsCrispywood said:

If he wasn’t injury prone this wouldn’t even be a discussionLincsaddick said:

Birmingham activate the permanent clause they had on Colombian midfielder Jhon Solis.0 -
#dcfc transfer news - Derby are close to agreeing a deal worth around £6m with Red Bull Salzburg for midfielder Bobby Clark. Club is hopeful of Clark undergoing a medical later this week if talks continue to advance. Was Derby's Young POTS last season after joining on loan

That's a really good signing for them. Was very impressed with him against us at home.fenaddick said:#dcfc transfer news - Derby are close to agreeing a deal worth around £6m with Red Bull Salzburg for midfielder Bobby Clark. Derby really going for it, if they can spend £6m on a player.2

Do they have any sellable assets?killerandflash said:Derby really going for it, if they can spend £6m on a player.0 -
Would have been Agyemang pre injury , rest of the squad isn't full of players that would command a big fee. Few rumours that Turki Alashikh is eyeing up a stake but that'll probably come to nothing like his attempts with Millwall and Bristol Citysam3110 said:

Annoying. I mentioned him earlier in our own transfer thread as someone I would have liked us to go for. Another shrewd Millwall signing imo. They really do have their recruitment nailed.5 -
Undisclosed fee but believed to be around £2 mill.clive said:0 -
Yeah this is another annoyingly good signing for them. Type of profile I thought we would have been in for.Athletico Charlton said:clive said:

You imagine he'll be a backup player for Millwall, being slowly introduced to the first team, whereas we need 1st choice players.2
-
Box to box type , seems to only score screamers. Really good on the ball. Will be interesting to see where he fits in with the likes of Mazou-Sacko, De Norre and Billy Mitchell if he's given a new deal.MillwallFan said:

He played 48 times for Bradford last season & won a host of awards. I doubt very much he'll be a bit part player.killerandflash said:You imagine he'll be a backup player for Millwall, being slowly introduced to the first team, whereas we need 1st choice players.2 -
A good young L1 player is unlikely to be a guaranteed starter for a top 6 Championship team.golfaddick said:

And yet we have people on here clamouring for a league 2 player to be a regular starter for uskillerandflash said:

Yep, very well suited to the press both our managers like to play. The Bradford fans rated him very highly.1 -
Exciting. Apparently we’ve been tracking him since his Everton days.MarcusH26 said:
