That has to be full SC though surely? - Just going to waste laps behind the VSC given where Kimi's car is parkedEdit: Okay didnt realise that Kimi parked so close to a run off0

George has swallowed the wasp!DamoNorthStand said:Russell is gonna have a face like he’s chewing on a wasp on that podium!1 -

You called this. 👏🏼DamoNorthStand said:Feel sick. There would be tears from Lewis if he wins for Ferrari today.
(Although you thought he’d blown it! 🤪)1 -
So buzzing for Lewis. First full race I’ve watched in a while and I chose a good one.4
-
Absolutely fantastic1
-
Just realising with Leclerc and Kimi scoring zero it’s a massive day in the championship.
The engine upgrades are now massive.
If Ferrari claw back 20-30hp as well then I can’t see how anyone can live with them2 -
Get in there local lad……...Lewisham Ilton.👊4
-
Fantastic! For once Ferrari got the strategy spot on and the luck went along with it. SO pleased. Game on in the Championship too now. Might need to book another trip to see a race live later in the year.2

He would have won that with a few seconds to spare without the VSC stop, he was too fast for everyone today.
Ferrari looking dominant on the track they usually look absolutely nowhere on, interesting times.
Austria a different beast with the straights, however Ferrari are the best on traction out of the low speed corners so might see them favourites there too4 -
Norris fascinating interview just now
”Ferrari upgrade their engine, as we expect soon, mark my words they are gone into the distance. They will dominate”
Im saying it again. Charles aside who will win very soon, Number 8 is on.4 -
I’d have suggested keeping a distance if you were going to do that…DamoNorthStand said:If that had been a full safety car I would have gone over to Spain and nuked race control myself5 -
Lewis local to me. He is from Tewin which is near Stevenage. His favourite bit of road in the whole world is one than goes under a roundabout in Stevenage, if you drive it fast you get a nice feeling through your body, although you shouldn't! I don't think the nation has produced a sports person who can compare with the GOAT. People were saying to Lewis, remeber who you are and he seems to have done so. I am in Italy and will buy a paper tomorrow as they will go mad over this. In England we follow the english drivers, in Italy it is whoever drives a Ferrari.7

Looking ahead of Austria, along with the traction, there are also some BIG stops on the brakes there which would aid energy recovery for them as well.sam3110 said:He would have won that with a few seconds to spare without the VSC stop, he was too fast for everyone today.

Aside from that, the morning after the night before, really reminds us all why Lewis is simply box office in F1. There has been more press attention than after Norris won the title never mind any other driving winning a race.
The sport of F1 played a big role in him having number 8 stolen from him, but if he were in the fight this year, F1 and Liberty would be loving it all the way to the bank.
Need to see how the next few races pan out before we get there..... cant forget he is still a 41 year old against strong rivals all in their prime.0 -
Seen that Brands Hatch is taking over as the London venue for Formula E from next season2
-
Intrigued to see how this Gen4 car races and hopefully a move away from the no one wants to lead Peloton style racing of the current generation. Brands is a far better choice than Silverstone although I guess they might have to stick an extra chicane out on the GP loop for regeneration.ForeverAddickted said:Seen that Brands Hatch is taking over as the London venue for Formula E from next season1 -
Are they using the full GP circuit then? They must be convinced the new Gen are actually much faster1
-
Yup full GP layout. Think the power is basically doubled in the new cars so hopefully the racing gets a bit better.sam3110 said:Are they using the full GP circuit then? They must be convinced the new Gen are actually much faster
A lot more moves to permanent circuits too , Zandvoort and COTA join the calendar too.3 -
just need to stick in a V8 and everything will be fine and dandy.MarcusH26 said:

Looking like it’s gonna be a close one in qualy. Merc only just clear of Lewis - and the Ferraris look to be running heavier with more consecutive laps in practice.Ferrari do seem to hold something back for q3 nowadays so let’s see what they’ve got.0
-
Lucky, lucky Red Bull there.1
-
Leclerc surely has this???? Russell had to have come through double waved yellow?0
-
That’s not pole George hahaha0
