Exactly, Anderson is still young enough to improve a lot on the ball. He’s not played a full season as a first team regular yet, so let him do that this season in league 1 and it will make a huge difference. Rankin-Costello is not going to have a physical transformation at 26. He’s good technically but Jones is probably never going to trust him because he’s not strong enough in the tackle or able to cover ground like our other midfielders1 -

At the end of last season Doc was superb for us and massively important
Anderson is a year older than Scott Parker when we loaned him to Norwich and he came back a different player. Anderson deserves time to find his niche.
For what it's worth I am not a fan of JRC in the slightest. He's a carthorse. We can do
better and must do better5 -

Distribution? Anderson can't trap a bag of cement to be able to then pass the ball! And neither are fast to any degree.
