Tough on Johnny H, but a major surprise it's taken so long for Bolder to make it, when you consider both his playing career - nearly 300 games, a key part of the Lennie side that stayed up for 4 years, and then part of the excellent Gritt and Curbs side - followed by his long involvement with the community trust.

I moaned last time, so happy to be called one again.

For Johnny H to have missed out over Holland and Bolder is fucking bollocks and makes the whole process a mockery. Furthermore  a championship right back (Solly) is in.

I have the utmost respect for the organisers but seriously the whole system is flawed.

Personally, I find it amazing that the two best right backs of the last 40 years, have not made it in.

Can only think of recency bias for Solly over Young or our younger lot only having seen Solly
Absolutely insane. A Premier League player, captain, POTY and England international who was part of the most successful period of our recent history losing out to - as much as I loved him - a Championship/L1 right back who only had two seasons where he was actually capable of playing at his peak level. I guess Young just wasn't as beloved.

If it's democratic why not show the voting results.

...1991 to date Chris Solly- 52%  (Runner-up Luke Young).
Hmmm, these 52% votes, always problematic 😜

Seriously, thanks for organising @killerjerrylee great work.

It’s just getting silly now , I’m on the pitch next home game!!!
  • I won't lie I'm gutted JH hasn't been voted in, player of the year three times in row and as a lad at Selhurst I genuinely believed him to be the epitome of coolness and class. Maybe next year.

I would be interested to know how many votes were cast in each category.

Shocking that we have chosen Solly over Young. Guess that opens the door for me to be voted to HoF in the future though 😂

A player that refused to play for the club and a League One player at best over two of the greatest full backs this club has ever had, one of them a club captain and England international.

Agree others had better claim this time but prior to his knee problems he was Championship quality at least. Sadly he was not fully fit for much of his career and as a club we were in the doldrums ie league 1 most of the time
