Couldn’t hear the commentary but why wasn’t it offside? When the ball was kicked there were 3 of them offside. Okay, it came off a defender but they were still offside.I think I’m turning into a girlie as I no longer understand the offside rule (no offence to the girlies on CL).1

Get why the ref gave the initial handball against the Australia player just before half time but that didn't give Ream licence to kick him in the head and go unpunished2

I think the Australians are surprised by how aggressive the USA are. In all the matches so far the refs are letting quite a lot go (which I like) but in this match the Aussies are on the wrong side of it.0

That goal given makes a nonsense of VAR, a bit like the France penalty not given at 0-0 against Senegal.

Now you talk about arms being in an "unnatural position" but for that penalty review his arms are only in line with the path of the ball because he's using them to push the attacker, so how is that a natural position?1
