On Macca, he’s served us well but it would be right for all parties to go their own way and say thank you for giving us everything you had, thank you for those key goals in the promotion season, all the best in future.
I was never his biggest fan and think he’s a good League One player but he always gave his all, he’s undoubtedly improved and he was pretty much always available and that’s a key trait for a modern day player.
What people don’t consider when these things happen is he has a young daughter so things like support network for his wife etc. will be considered on any potential move. Wherever that may be.

Hopefully it's just someone making stuff up and he signs a new contract.
Even if he doesn't/won't sign a new deal, i'd hope the club would rather keep Jones for one more year and lose him for free next summer than sell him for 2m.
