AKA bad fouls, at least one of which should have been a straight red and 4 match ban.Crispywood said:
Pretty sure it was ankle ligaments. Find it curious people call Edwards injury prone considering the only time he’s missed Charlton games is due to impact injuries opposed to muscular knocks like an Aneke or bell this seasonfenaddick said:
Doesn't this happen a lot with knee injuries? The adrenaline pushes you through and then once you stop it swells and gets horrible. That thrown in probably made it a lot worseAndyG said:
His injury was one of the mysteries of the season for me as it looked so innocuous at the time he even ran across to the other side of the pitch to try and take a long throw straight after the tackle where the injury happened so he obviously didn’t think it was bad at the time and for it to be a seasoning ending injury was just weirdSouthbank said:
Its sadly possible that Josh is a good left back but neither a good lcb or lwb in the Champ, even without the impact of his injury and time out of the game.charltonbob said:
He's injury prone when playing at LWB, NJ should never play him in that position, injury waiting to happen.CAFCsayer said:
But he wasn't, and won't be next year, he is injury prone. We either need a starter there or a top quality LWB and I think Edwards would be quality as the LCB starterCrispywood said:
get a young understudy to Bell. Ease him in 1st season get him used to the style of play intensity etc and then first team the following season. Bell can easily do a job still would have gotten 2nd for POTY if he was fit all yearthenewbie said:The question becomes if Gillesphey goes then are we looking at someone else to replace him as backup or are we pushing the boat out for a first choice LCB with Bell being the reserve (due to his fitness issues.)
But I think he'll be back and fully fit. He's made from girders.1 -

We simply need two players in every position, I remember being told last summer that we didn't need another left back to cover Edwards as Bell would be adequate enough. That turned out well didn't it?charltonbob said:

Some random kid on X says Jones is going and everyone believes it’s true .. West Ham have 90 mill burning a hole in their back pocket I think their be looking long term when it comes to signings and a player who played one season above league one and league two and 31 years old … is not a shrewd future signing ..0

He's too bloody good for them.RonnieMoore said:West Ham have 90 mill burning a hole in their back pocket I think their be looking long term when it comes to signings and a player who played one season above league one and league two and 31 years old … is not a shrewd future signing ..2 -
Think their bigger problem is shifting a lot of very big very expensive contracts that won't want anything to do with the club anymore. They won't be looking long term , this will be a Championship All-stars can we bounce back type approach throwing money around.RonnieMoore said:Some random kid on X says Jones is going and everyone believes it’s true .. That’s wierd because lots of random people post random stuff and you then post them on here as fact.RonnieMoore said:Some random kid on X says Jones is going and everyone believes it’s true .. Would be a good move for someone like Z MitchellThemightyath2 said:I was sitting next to Wimbledon’s Director of Football on a flight from NYC to Dallas last week (we were heading there for the England game).I asked him about Asiimwe - he said he started well, but had a really poor end to the season, and they are not interested in resigning him. Thinks he’s a league two / national league player. He talked about a few Charlton players…
He and Jackson would love to take Kanu on loan, but thinks he’ll end up somewhere else in league one who can offer better wages.Really rates Mbick, but knows they have no chance of getting him.Zero interest in Ahadme.
Wanted to sign Ramsay when he was at Harrogate but JJ wasn’t sure!!Likes Phil Chapple, “one of the good guys”.6 -

As an avid reader of The Herald I can confirm Ronnie doesn't get his inside info from there, it's from in the bushes at the training ground in Central Park, The Herald is in fact reporting that Argyle have been pipped for AM's signature by Exeter City.1 -
Thank goodness we have a reliable in the know like you, Ronnie, to keep us all straight on what's fact and what's fiction.RonnieMoore said:Some random kid on X says Jones is going and everyone believes it’s true ..
