A word for Milnes.
There was a certain amount of disappointment when we lost Gilchrist and even some when we re-signed Milnes, albeit perhaps because of the question re his ability to stay fit. This is their respective records:
Gilchrist last season: 34 wickets @ 30.04 & economy rate of 3.60
Gilchrist this season to date: 12 wickets @ 32.75 & economy rate of 3.82
Milnes this season to date: 26 wickets @ 24.92 & economy rate of 3.1711 -

Went on Saturday, and even if not everything went Kent’s way, it was still obvious how much better it was than last season. After another win it is great to see so many happy Kent fans!6

I was thinking that purely because of the momentum we've put together. However there is one big benefit and that is that it will give the opportunity for Milnes, Dudgeon and Mahmud to re-charge their batteries. A couple more quick games after this one would mean them probably bowling another 30-40 overs in each. Four overs in Blast games and not having to play many, if any, Metro matches will do them the world of good.redman said:excellent win. Shame we have to wait another 2 months before the next game!1 -
When I checked the score on the BBC app earlier, it showed Kent 257-10.
