It was a bit meh, but a point and a clean sheet.
    Will certainly progress.

Shoutout to that absolutely fucking awful excuse of a referee.

Zero consistency, loads of wrong decisions. Prick.

From our perspective, we needed a ref that wasn’t so lenient with the Ghanaians - I lost count of how many fouls Ayew committed.

Much better with O’Reilly on. Ghana delivered maybe the most defensive performance I’ve ever seen but I guess that’s what the new format wants.

Onto the next one. Hopefully that’s shown Tuchel some things.

Draw not the end of the world but what a shit game of football
Annoyingly, Ghana got what they came for. We didnt do enough to win that. Rashford and Saka shouldve been on much earlier

We looked scared of them, whilst looking too relaxed.

Pile of poo. Last ten minutes were better but far too little, too late.

    Piss poor really

no fight, no real magic and just lacklustre!
Kane on par with Ayew who’s just been relegated to L1…

Might not have any bearing on the rest of the tournament but anyone who isnt disappointed with that performance is lying to themselves to feign positivity. Finally created some openings from the 85th minute but we didn't do enough going forward and multiple defensive lapses that gave them openings.

Fair play to that witch doctor though. Can we hire him when we play Millwall?

No worse than Spain's draw and against a better side.

We didn't trouble them til the 86th minute.

We had one big chance, but so did they.

A real lack of quality out wide with Gordon and Madueke. We moved the ball at a snail's pace and had no urgency in our movement. No bravery on the ball.

Can't believe I spent all week looking forward to that game.

Would love to know how many England passes were made to a player standing still. Movement off the ball was shocking, changes too late and why oh why did they not bring a second striker on?

Equally doesnt mean anything either, when you consider Argentina lost 2-1 vs. Saudi Arabia last time round.
Like I say, any England setback and its the end of the f**king world lol!

Learn more from this than anything else. He’s better than Southgate, just gotta roll with the punches.

Is he? He’s yet to prove that. If he’s better than Southgate he’ll win the tournament.

Excellent defensive performance by Ghana, and they could have nicked something on the break. Nathan Jones would have played it exactly the same way.

Because famously no other teams are allowed to improve too!

I thought we were poor, but when a team puts 11 men behind the ball and doesn’t even try to attack it’ll be hard for any side in the world. The new format and 3 qualifying spots creates garbage like this.

I think the biggest area of concern is the wingers. We need a fit Saka if we’re going to do anything here.

Anthony Gordon must be money laundering because if he’s worth 80 million then so is Tyreece Campbell.

Ah well. I always did feel Ghana felt like more of a banana skin than Croatia. That puts us alongside Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Netherlands as teams who have dropped points already, and in many of those cases it was against teams who had absolute zero interest in doing anything other than keeping the opposition out. To be honest, it's a lot less embarrassing than drawing against Cape Verde or DR Congo. We had the big chance to win at the end and Kane of all people fluffed it. The fact is we just need to beat Panama, which on this showing will be a tough watch but surely something we can do, and then that should be the end of playing against the lowest low block in history and we can see the effect of a team set up to exploit space in behind attacking teams. Dull watch, not the end of the world. Get out of the group and we'll hopefully see something more from this team

Fucking hell, so dramatic. It’s competition football, you don’t perfect it for 700 minutes.

If I said it was good, it would be good. I didn't say it was good. It's not a disaster, it's not ideal. It just is.

Not sure we can say that for definite yet. Southgate would have drawn that game 0-0 too.

Up until the 86th minute it was a game of walking football.

Set plays were really poor today as well.
