    We pulled up behind the convertible version 300 SL at the traffic lights.

    My Neighbor has some old cars. 1955 Sapphire, 60`s jag, an old merc and his current daily drive is the Sunbeam Alpine.

    I like quirky Japanese cars especially the interiors. Plenty of clever design goes into them.

    As urban cars they do a job. No point owning a big or performance car if you live in a city.

    I like the original Golf, Lotus Esprit and Lancia Delta Integrale. All designed by the great Giorgetto Giugiaro. If I had to pick one I would find it hard but would probably go for the Lotus (as a second car). But the Delta is so ........... Very hard to pick.

    well if you like boxy, this will suit you :-
    need to do something about the wheels- far too round, they need something like this from Hengist Pod

    But, in keeping with this thread’s topic, this is what I’d still love to own. A 1961 E Type. I sold this car for £10,000 in 2005. Ouch!
