    Can't wait for this
I can’t wait for this even though I’m not going. It means 4 days of peace as Mr Tatters is!
Can I have a quick update on the chickens please?
I don't want to put my foot in it if they've had a bad couple of years and upset Mr Tatters.
    The chooks are all fine!

Hi, the Dutch Addicks contacted me and asked if we are interested in joining their anual meeting. They are planning to hold it in a pub in Arnhem on July, 25th. I think we will end up in a pub anyway after exploring Operation Market Garden on the Saturday. What do you think?

I responded directly to @MadGerman but this is a great idea and hopefully a number on the trip will join the Dutch Addicks for their meeting.

Places on the trip still available if anyone is interested, reply here or send me a message. Thanks.

We've crossed the channel and are on our way to Arnham via Joe's Bridge in Belguim.

Managed to avoid the four coaches of vile Orient fans on their way to the Somme.

Did they even take that many to Wembley? *

I’ve been learning Dutch for the last year, walked up to the hotel check in thinking it was my big moment. Said to the receptionist in my best accent and grammar that I had a room booked for 3 nights in my name through Expedia. She just laughed and told me she didn’t speak Dutch and she was Spanish.

    @Chippycafc thought it was hilarious

That was brilliant and very moving. Other visitors also held their respect.

It was hilarious. It was his proudest hour taken away in an instance.

Also well done to Ben and Alan for their moments discussing  relatives and neighbours who were at that battle. Very moving.

    These tours are exceptional.

The group on the ground at Arnhem, another full day ahead, off to Graves and Nijmegen before ending in the Oosterbeek Perimeter and Lonsdale Church. Great to share the personal stories of Ben and Alan yesterday, they make these trips so specoal. iru

No Mr Tatters in any photos. Is he actually out there or has he used this as an excuse to meet his lover 🤔

Brilliant day today around Oosterbeek and Nijmegen. Can’t thank Neal and Clive enough for organising and running such a fantastic weekend. Just hope we get to do it again somewhere. Got a bit messy with the Dutch and German addicks tonight

To top what was a great few days off, when I walked into the restaurant and asked for a table for us tonight, they tried to give me a Dutch menu as they thought I was Dutch. Made up for the hotel episode.
