    How much for Alex Mitchell do people think then?  Did really well at Plymouth who were in at off form whilst he was there.  £800K with add ons I would like to think.  Wycombe have a few quid.

    Charlton Athletic are set to strike a deal for Dundee defender Billy Koumetio.

    The English Championship side are close to an agreement for the centre half.

    Dundee have already knocked back several six figure bids for the former Liverpool youngster.

    The Addicks now look to have finally got their man.

    Talks between the two clubs are now at an advanced stage.

    The final details are still being worked on, but is expected to be agreed over the next 24 hours.

    Oxford rumoured too but not sure if that’s changed with the manager switch

    Would reckon £400-475k for Mitchell. Won't make a loss on him even with the sellon Millwall have

    Koumetio looks like he ticks a lot of the boxes we look for in terms of physical attributes. Would expect him probably be an understudy to Bell initially, but with the aim of overtaking him as he develops hopefully quite quickly

    I’ll ask my Dundee supporting mate what he thinks of Koumetio. Trouble is his opinions aren’t up to much. He’s a bit of a fruitcake

    More than likely a replacement for Gillesphey, the fact he got recruited by Liverpool says to me he has some talent and at 6'5 will definitely be able to compete physically plus he has played as winger. Would be a good addition.

    Most YouTube clips make players look like worldbeaters. Not sure about this one. Looks a bit agricultural to me. I’m sure he’s got more about him 🤞

    Agree but most of those Liverpool clips are 6 years old. So you’d hope he’s developed some composure at Dundee.

    Will be a bit gutted to see Billy go. Without the injuries and incredible rise of Graham, I honestly think that he could have had a similar impact to which Luke had this season. Got a feeling once he plays regularly in a team he will flourish and could end up even further up the food chain

    I think if the Koumetio deal is a high 6-figure deal you've probably got to be accepting it as that's the model they are trying to follow and he's only got 12 months.

    I think he's got a lot of potential but he also has been quite prone to injuries the two seasons we've had him.

    bit gutted,  had we got another year or so  added to his deal , could have had a great, hopefully Injury free season & sold him for 7 figures

    I hope the injury proneness isn't a real issue but it makes sense to sign a player of this age and profile to learn from Bell this season and hopefully develop and take his place the following season. Takes the pressure off him having to come in and adapt to the league immediately
