Billy and Graham already know each other's game well, may as well get them both...
    Billy Graham - god willing!
You are preaching to the converted.

Was mentioned to me earlier looks like one is incoming but couldn’t get a name so didn't post about it. Now looks like that player is Big Billy Koumetio.

As for outgoings - club want to offload everyone who went out on loan on perm deals minus Mbick who the current plan is to loan out again.

Thanks for the info. Kanu possibly on his way then.

Sad if true but from the clubs perspective they probably feel like they need to have one of Kanu or Mbick as the youth prospect but having both may not be viable. One of those that could go either way but I suppose Mbick would fit Jones system and style better of the two.

If Wycombe are flinging cash about then they could do a lot worse than a triple deal for Mitchell, Kanu and Anderson.

Kanu and Anderson could bite us in the arse but it’s a tough decision for the management team, especially with a good amount of prospective youths ‘coming through’

Would be surprised if they found a taker for Olaofe. Think that's going to be the difficult one to shift along with Ahadme.

Just under 2 million for a potential Championship level player in Ferry is peanuts.

If the club is that arsed about the fee I'll just pay it for them.

For Kanu his stock his very high at the moment, which probably means we are happy to cash in and/or he’s looking to cash in and get a good permanent deal somewhere that he’s going to play as first choice. He will have his pick of the top clubs in league 1 if he’s available for transfer or loan

I think people have rose tinted glasses on when it comes to Edwards. He's solid but unproven in the championship. We absolutely need strong competition for him.
    Strongly agree with this.

I like Edwards and think he can do well at this level, but he's still upper League 1 until proven otherwise.

He didn't get the opportunity to prove he belongs at this level like Lloydy, and to some extent Kayne.

It was only a small sample size but I thought Edwards was our most consistent player last season in the period from the first game to his injury. Even Jones had a poor game at QPR early on in the season but Edwards was consistently pretty good every game

Would agree he’s not proven it yet but I’ve got no real doubts about his ability to step up

The only real doubt with Edwards would be if we lose TC. Would Edwards be enough attacking threat on the left hand side?

Gutted if Kanu goes, but if he does go we have to secure a good sell on.

I just don’t see Daniel Kanu as a regular championship footballer any time soon, don’t quiet get people being that high on him

Edwards played 7 games and didn’t look out of place in 1 not sure how many games he had to play before people thought he looked out of place. Like we saw instantly with Macca Berry etc

Tbf Macca had the game of his life vs Blackburn and I thought we were seeing the emergence of a proper cult hero. False dawns and all that.

Agreed! Bar one moment of brilliance, marked Fatawu out of the game. Don’t remember another winger getting the better of him! Just one of them players who will consistently be up there every week in performances. Very underrated!

Don't disagree about it being any time soon, but he is young, has the attributes to make the step up and knows where the goal is. Think down the line he will be Champ standard

    Correct.

    Oh ... and The Beano.

    And William McGonagall.

    The only three good things.

    And that marmalade.

    The only four good things.

So what, you hold on to him till when? 2030? 2032? Not really fair on the kid, or useful for the club

The whole team was playing well in the first 7 games as the rest of the division hadn’t worked us out yet, weren’t we in the playoffs around that time? Edwards is a great player but if we’re bringing in a starter that gets in the team before him then happy days!

I'm sure DK will have a good career but I don't see him as technical or physical enough for this level. Mbick looks like he could be.

It's such a long way from L2 to the Champ... Jack Payne and Alex Gilbey are good in L2. They couldn't even cut it in L1.

His ability I don't think is really the issue but its firstly his fitness and whether he will be able to get back to his best (mentally as well as physically) and secondly how does he manage over a whole season. Ramsay for instance clearly has the ability for the Championship but at times seemed to lose concentration or get a bit overconfident and got punished harshly.

Personally I think he will be fine on both counts but there is still a question at the moment.

    A lot happening next week…
I let the garden go a bit because I said to myself I will do it once I get back from Ireland.
It got rough, but when I got back it was too damn hot to do anything.
So this week is gardening week.
Cut the hedges, cut the grass, sort the weeds growing in the cracks, trim some flowers, pressure wash the concrete bits, assemble the gazebo, put a table and chairs out.
Too right there’s a lot happening.
I don’t like gardening but I owe it to my neighbours to keep stuff in order.
On top of all that starting Friday I have another two week duty to feed local feral cat Harry.

How tall is the cat? (asking for a group of friends with an interest in football recruitment)

Maybe, but so far the only two clubs publicly linked with him are Wimbledon and Stevenage, neither will pay a lot.
