I have zero interest in cars as an adult, but as a kid I was obsessed with the Audi Quattro rally cars.2

The Lotus Esprit S1 was a great design as you say. It did have a few little problems but the later Esprit with the slightly rounded edges was better built and less problems.MuttleyCAFC said:I like the original Golf, Lotus Esprit and Lancia Delta Integrale. All designed by the great Giorgetto Giugiaro. If I had to pick one I would find it hard but would probably go for the Lotus (as a second car). But the Delta is so ........... Very hard to pick.
I owned the later for 10 years, which was a year old when I bought it. Fantastic car to drive and in its time a real head turner.0 -
Didn't the Esprit have Marina doorhandles?0

Luckily it didn't have a marina's engine.Gisappointed said:Didn't the Esprit have Marina doorhandles?0 -
I had a 'B' series 1.8 Marina and performed well. Never failed to start and a big engine in a light car was nice to drive. Shocking build, i terior and rust though.CaptainRobbo said:

Edited for you 😁SuedeAdidas said:I have zero interest in cars as an adult, but as a kid I was obsessed with Suzi Quattro.1 -
You would have to build a bigger garage to accommodate this along with your Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Mclaren, Aston Martin and Lamborghini.eastterrace6168 said:

As a child I adored Xr3s. My dad had one and I always resented my baby sister being born as it had to go when she arrived!
I had an XR3i cabriolet as my personal favourite of the hot hatch generation. I always looked jealously at the Pug 1.9GTi and dismissed Golf GTIs as the owners were generally rich boys whose parents were funding them.
The Subaru WRX twin turbo, RS2000, Sapphire Cosworth, Nissan Skyline all miles out of my league but things of beauty.
The Audi 80, that was a pedigree car

Yes they did only S1 to S3 models. S4 onward had General motors (Vauxhall).Gisappointed said:Didn't the Esprit have Marina doorhandles?0 -

They weren't nice to drive the handling and ride was best described as rudimentary, even for the era.Gisappointed said:

If I had a garage, and the roads weren’t quite as shit as they are around here, I’d consider one of these, although I’m not sure where the bike rack goes.Lamborghini Huracan - I got it round the track three times without crashing

Very nice.Rob7Lee said:Picked this up a few weeks back
We bought the family run around from Porsche Sheffield last year, they were more helpful than the local dealers in the South East. Enjoying the V8 though.
Now for a weekender, maybe the cayman and something to ditch the kids with 😂0 -
There's a SWB Ur Quattro up for sale at the moment. Very rare beast. £625k to you Sir.SuedeAdidas said:I have zero interest in cars as an adult, but as a kid I was obsessed with the Audi Quattro rally cars.

Mate of mine picked up this a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already placed my name at the top of the buyers list when he sells it in four-years time!

The great thing about Porsche cars is they are proper supercars yet are pretty practical. And the build quality is second to noneStuart_the_Red said:Mate of mine picked up this a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already placed my name at the top of the buyers list when he sells it in four-years time!

I would check it over first, it seems to have a slight oil leak from the back there....Stuart_the_Red said:Mate of mine picked up this a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already placed my name at the top of the buyers list when he sells it in four-years time!

The first one is a Maserati Granturismo. (Very nice too - I assume the 4.7 V8?)guinnessaddick said:
