Mesik has a long throw apparently
Here you go @Callumcafc, don’t blame me if it’s wrong!

So the Bristolian cousin has told me that we're in for clarke on a perm, apparently a choice between us and them
Imagine if we had long throws from Mesík, Edwards and Clarke to choose from
Watch the opposition start putting the ball behind for a corner that doesn't clear the first man instead of a throw that actually does!

Regarding the long throws Apparently His parents named Him after this guy, so it could be true.

Ivan Ryhoravich Tsikhan[4] (born 24 July 1976) is a Belarusian hammer thrower. He is a two-time world champion and an Olympic medalist.

By the looks of him I’d rather iron Ivan in the box than taking the long throws!

Hearing rumours that Fenaddick was certain Mesik has a monster long throw and we should all blame him if this turns out to not be true

Got a message yesterday afternoon saying “IV pending” had no idea what it meant so didn’t post about it.

He wasn’t a name I have heard before but as always I trust Jones with all defensive signings.
Can you share anything on the NJ/ownership bust up rumour?
    Yeah total bollocks

I could see Macca and Mitchel (a) out before Friday with maybe one more in?

It makes little sense to take them to slovina if we are selling them.

Koumetio not in the Dundee squad tonight. Would imagine he is pretty close to signing.

Would be very underwhelmed with that if true.

Feels a bit odd if our first 2 signings are both left sided centre backs who can also play left back/wingback, rather than signing 1 left CB and a more attacking left WB option? That's once again putting a lot of pressure on the right WB to provide the attacking threat.

Didn't Ivan say he has played LWB?

Just a theory 19 players in training today out of 29. Bare in mind Coventry Olaofe will have extended breaks and the rest missing are the likes of Ahadme /Gough/Asiimwe etc.

we signed Mesik today no shots of Gillesphey and Bradford have just hinted them making signing tomorrow of a player who does slightly resemble Macca from a small shot. Also a lot of talk from Bradford sides they’re closing in on a LCB

All of those you mentioned except Coventry have been seen in photos of the players back at Sparrows Lane though.

Harry Clarke would be a smart signing. Feels good for both parties.

Agreed. But Jones loves a random journeyman signing. Although this one would be considerably worse than Wickham and Lualua in my opinion.

I can’t work out if it’s definitely Redmond but great spot if it is

7 clubs over a 16 year career is hardly a journeyman.

Why? He's only 32 and has played at a higher level longer than both of them did.

Wouldn't be surprised if Redmond is just in as a trialist for a couple of games.

Can only sign players in the order the deals are agreed.

Because he's played 22 games in 3 years. Hardly set the world alight at Sheffield Wednesday or Blackburn. Surely we can do much better?

No harm in bringing him in for a trial and giving him a couple of friendlies.
