    Ezri Konsa so far out of his depth here it’s crazy. He’s playing on Guehi’s toes.

    So slow in midfield with the ball. 
    Anderson is a good player, obviously, but it’s too conservative. I’d like to see Mainoo there who moves the ball quicker, is more positive. Or you drop Bellingham back with Rice and play Rogers.

    The real winners here - Southgate and Maguire.

    You have to play commanding CBs. Konsa and Guehi have absolutely 0 leadership or authority between them.

    Fair to say that this has to be Pickfords last tournament too. All over the place

    We're seeing this Tournament why we played three CBs since 2018

    Goals against happen, whatever. What’s worrying about this is we’ve been told England are setup to counter punch teams who will come at them. It kind of worked against Croatia but then we toiled and struggled a bit vs two low blocks. This game, Congo started by coming at England and it took just 10 minutes to concede with no threat from England and then it’s back to having to deal with a low block. 

    20 minutes in and already a bit ragged. Need a nerve settling goal soon or this could get very ugly. Second best so far though.

    I am finding myself remarkably relaxed compared to previous years - as we have absolutely no chance of winning the tournament with this defence.
