One day of the year, ants 'have wings' and fly around aimlessly.
    It's rubbish!

They should change it so that each year a different animal gets a go. Cats maybe.
    Or Badgers.

They get on my nerves, they only live for about an hour after they suss out how to fly into air vents and girls hair.

Sorry vegetarians I boiled my ones last week.

They were out in force though I'd guess about 5.37 they were at their strongest number wise

  • Same in petts wood. Hate the bastards.
  • All clear here on the Kent / Sussex border. More of a case of flying pants as the gusty wind has blown some things off the washing line.
  • Plenty today in West Yorkshire

    It's summer
Happens on a few days every year
They fly, shag if they're lucky and most of em die shortly after
Granted it's no fun if they're in the house but otherwise what actually is the fuss about?
If swatting a few tiny invertebrates is the worst challenge you'll face all day...
