If anyone wants a laugh and the Scots perspective. Page 195 onwards is proper funny.
Seen quite a lot of this "well they'll never win it because they still need to beat Argentina and then Spain/France" but it completely misses the point doesn't it.

The game was great in its own right. Football has never been about just winning stuff, it's about the enjoyment and experiences you get along the way. I don't really believe we have enough to win the whole thing but last night does mean we're still in it and we get another fun night on Saturday. Meanwhile up in Scotland ....

Not sure why they are so irritated by us celebrating the three goals we scored in one game at the Azteca.

They should instead focus their attention on celebrating the WC goals they have scored in the last 28 years - one deflected goal v Haiti.

Reece James' sister goes to the same school as my youngest. They are all flying out last minute to Miami tomorrow.

Presuming he has told them he is fit to start.

    A slight sideways post.

Since when have a team kicking off, been allowed to do so from their opponents half?

I noticed when England kicked off against Mexico, our player was in the Mexican centre circle?
you've been allowed to kick off backwards since euro 2016 so it's been at least 10 years

All very fun but as a Charlton fan I can not, in all good faith endorse anything that discredits the integrity of our train network
There is more excitement in Jude Bellingham than Bellingham.

I would think about putting Burn in the middle of defence to deal with Haaland in the air and Konsa at right back.
I would maybe think about and then dismiss the idea. Stones can deal with him more effectively.

Cristiano Ronaldo is gutted. His grandchildren were planning to fly out for the QF.

Just saw a clip of the full time whistle, zoomed in on an exhausted Bellingham fallen to his knees and then "it's coming home" begins playing on the Azteca's PA system. Incredible clip - first moment I've thought "what if"...

That moment (when you start thinking there's a chance) is usually when it all falls apart though. :-)

Two massive hurdles to get through where it can all fall apart. Haaland is almost certain to score against us meaning we need to automatically get 2 or 3.

Then the Argies doing their normal against us - cheating and dirty tricks and FIFA will let them get away with it.

It's nice to dream, isn't it? For the first time in a long time we've got a manager who's a proven winner. You can really see the groundwork Southgate laid too with the togetherness, belief and unity in this squad is obvious. If they keep playing with that spirit, then why not start believing? We might finally have something special

Klopp was at the Switzerland game yesterday.  I could understand it if he was watching Germany but wtf is he on a massive freebie watching that?
On his trip to the States I'd love to know how little he has paid for this jolly.  Flights, hotels, the matches, it's great being a big name with the perks that come with it whilst thousands of supporters around the world are paying huge sums of money for admission plus all that goes with it.

Wouldnt put it past him to have like 10 wax images of himself with 'working private parts' installed in his mirrored bedroom so he can fellate all his idols before bed.

I doubt he’s paid a penny. It’s highly likely he’s being paid a very decent wedge.

But then he isn’t a plumber from Doncaster who has to save up and pay his own way. He’s one of the most respected managers in world football and this is his job.

I doubt the plumber pays to go and unblock u-bends, because that’s his job.

Klopp advertises the awful Budweiser, who are one of the official sponsors,  so I imagine he gets tickets through them.

The excellent Tim Vickery made the point that Brazil played Haaland well, until Ancelotti made the disastrous decision to put Neymar up front, and push VJ and Endrich wide.
This opened up the middle of the pitch, and Norway were able to get up the field, and closer to Haaland.
The key will be playing the game in their half, and not allowing balls into the box, as EH is an absolute monster in the air.

It just gets better, I did not stop to think he might have been paid as well!
He probably did not pay for his 'turkey teeth' either.
