Dental implants.

Recently had to have a tooth removed, second back one on the top right so this is making chewing harder. Been looking into implants and getting wildly different costs.

Anyone got any recommendations and also if you’ve had it done what sort of cost was it and if it was done a while ago how has it held up?

My wife is currently in the middle of getting full implants done, she's had everything removed and will be getting the implants next month, has had the period without to let the bone grafts heal properly - She's terrified of the Dentist and I've been really impressed with how she's managed the treatment so far... Costing her around £20k
I'm not a fan of the Dentist either, and had tooth ache last week, to the point of me needing to go for advice, and went to the same Dentist (link below) in Rochester yesterday, and I couldn't have been more impressed with their care

Interested in this too. I’ve got to have the the back tooth top left removed at some point. It’s broken in half and has been fine so inclined to leave it. Been referred to the hospital as one of the roots is near a sinus. The dentist said he could ‘give it a go’ but if it went wrong I’d need to go to hospital to have it sorted.
Was hoping I could get an implant .

I had a gap (upper right), then the tooth next to it broke, so 9 years ago I got implants installed to replace the 2 teeth, as I didn't want a double gap. Done at my regular London dental surgery, for £4000? but I can't remember the exact price.

Took a few months, as after the broken tooth was removed and the titanium rod drilled in, it was left to heal and graft for 3 months.

Other than the crown falling off - it just needed sticking down again - I've had no issues at all.

Same for me and about the same cost. I don’t know which two are the implants now.

There’s already a thread on this.

but just to repeat I had two upper implants and lower denture to cover the absence of no back teeth. Had it done 3 years ago and so far so good.

The work was done by Vital Europe who have a base in Riding House Street off Regent Street in London.

So, all X-rays and estimates were done in London but the work was carried out in Budapest. Lovely city.

Everything was very professional, state of the art surgery in Budapest and no discomfort whatsoever.

Total cost around 10k which was about half of what I was quoted in London.

All follow up work, check ups etc, carried out in London.

One drawback my then NHS dentist wasn’t willing to touch others work, which means or at least at the moment, I have to continue going private, with Vital Europe which is fine but obviously everything’s more costly.

    I definitely recommend Vital Europe.

Wife had a dental implant along with a graft in her upper arch last year in the midlands for about £3,500 and works perfectly

Mate had a full set done in Hungary and they look brilliant. Meant to be one of the best places in Europe for it and is a third of the price of the uk
