    Totally deserved and long overdue recognition for Clive.

    Rarely go to an away game and don't see him.

    definitely recognise him , I'm sure he was ginger before the grey took over and always had a plastic bag with him on away trips and would get on at Well Hall way back when .

    THIS is the lovely Clive - the die hard Kent fanatic -who was on camera several times during the 4 day stream of the match in Blackpool a few weeks ago. 

    The miles this very special fan of both his football club & county cricket team travels each year must be an incredible number. 

    Like Seb & Norm, the "travel" Clive and I'm sure others who live for our club, we thank you for your dedication & salute you.

    We expect to see him at the Surrey & Middx matches this weekend & maybe meet up for the England Quarter Final somewhere on Saturday night as we are staying over too. 

    And will be sure to congratulate him on his well deserved award.  <3

    Clive would always be with his father at games back in the 1990s .Also watching resevers games at Welling.
    Both Don Moore and Clive would use Lewis Coaches also.Two names that bring football memories floating back.

     Nearly always see Clive King at u21 games at Sparrows Lane/ Dartford & 1st Team away games, Clive is a regular Valley Away coach traveller, where i prefer the challenges of rail travel for away games.

    I like traveling by coach, but also like getting the train.

    known him & his family for 58 years. his dedication to the addicks is beyond question & the award is well deserved.
    became a Torquay fan spending family holidays there. But CAFC league & cup games always come first. I've known him to come straight to a Charlton game from Torquay & vice versa. I believe he's only missed two home & away games in 30 years & one of those was Sheffield Wednesday when he only reached Sheffield after kick off.

    always amazes me that in the grand scheme of things we are a relatively small fanbase, I’ve been going home and away for nearly 40 years, yet repeatedly I meet or see pics like above of long term fans I’ve never seen before in my life! 

    Madness isn't it. Same with Seb. It's only when my son pointed him out at MKD in the cup replay that I found out who he was. 

    Only met the other Clive at Crawley, the one that was postponed recently and now see him all the time. He's a real nice guy too.
