Funny how Dixon is being written after one loan where he didn’t play while ZMitchell is seen as promising after having a loan where he didn’t play and another where he was really poor. No bias towards our homegrown?
In fact, Zak did well at Colchester until the manager was sacked.

He then did well at St Johnstone despite some injuries.

That earned him a loan to Hibs but he was rarely played.

Dixon was over praised due to scoring a lot at U21 level but anyone who watched him saw he missed 4 chances for everyone he scored.  He failed to impress at Crawley although in his defence a struggling club was probably the wrong option.  He's not looked ready in our first team either.
He did not do well at colchester. Their fans were booing him off the pitch the last couple of times he started for him.  He started brightly the first few weeks but it went downhill from there.  I personally was at a match (visiting my wife’s parents who are colchester supporters) where he was responsible for 3 out of 5 goals conceded.
Seems to have regressed .  He was the one I was most confident would make it of all our young crop

Also the St Johnson spell everyone talks about was circa 8 games.

Isn’t Dixon a little older than Mitchell and the other under 21s?

I wouldn’t give up on him yet he certainly can score goals
I wouldn’t say I’m giving up, but I’d estimate a 5% chance he becomes a regular feature in our first team.
    Make that 0%!

Was never going to cut it in the championship. Hope he can kick on in Serbia, but seems an odd place to go

Scored and assisted in Novi Pazar’s 2-0 win against Collins Sichenje’s old team Vojvodina earlier today.
