Should women's tennis have a separate thread too?

Oh no, England cricket on the England cricket thread. Proper red ball stuff too, although I'm at peak loving our white ball men's side atm given they're walloping the Death Star at their preferred format

England 21-1 (11) at the close. Tammy Beaumont the one to go in what will probably be her penultimate innings in international cricket.

So 85.5 overs bowled in the day. You will never get 100 overs until such time as the Laws are changed/implemented.
More overs than the men manage and there was a change of innings too.

The meltdown that we aren't serving up roads for them is hilarious.

Game delayed because traffic is so bad in the area that the India coach is only arriving now.

The ground is a terrible location, about an hour from leaving the train to getting in the ground.

There's a hotel at the ground

It's a Hilton so maybe they're sponsored by Marriott or someone and they're obliged to stay there.

If we are talking about being out of form, Buttler cannot find his for England. He had a decent IPL but pre and post that his scores in in T20Is have been (most recent first):

    8 (8)
    36 (21)
    0 (3)
    25 (17)
    0 (2)
    2 (3)
    7 (14)
    3 (4)
    3 (4)
    21 (14)
    26 (17)
    25 (21)
    39 (29)
    17 (10)
    4 (3)
    29 (25)
    0 (2)
    28 (10)

That's 18 innings going back to last September without a 50, averaging 15.11 at a strike rate of 131.40 . If this isn't guaranteed to see him hit a ton in the final T20 of this series, then nothing is.

Looking forward to Buttler sending me my cut!

Watching India getting battered is a real pleasure.
Shuts their obnoxious fans up nicely.

I know this Indian team are in a bit of a transition period - but that was about as tragic a fielding performance I have seen.

Despite what the commentators said throughout they were never with the rate from the first over and it just got progressively worse.

Not so good when it isn't in India or somewhere where they get everything on their terms and all sorts of advantages over other teams!

Confirmed. He will continue as white ball coach though, which could be awkward

They've got a month to appoint both a coach and a captain
